I had the C5/C6 fusion 10 years ago and the Neurosurgeon gave me 80 pain pills, that was it. I asked him for Soma and he gave me one bottle and made it seem like I was a drug addict. 10 years later it still hurts but pain pills are usually not given to maintain you longer than a couple months for this type of Operation. Soma on the other hand is hardly given out anymore to anyone. With that said I have a ton of Soma and about 5 bottles of Norco due to a car crash yet don't like pain medication. For that matter I have two spare bottles (ok 1 and a half of liquid Norco cough syrup, not called that) along with 30 bottles of Xanax. Hello, Carol! How are you?

Yes, that is true. New regulations have been put in place that require anyone needing such medications on a long-term ongoing basis see a specialist. However, your PCP should be able to provide you with a referral.

Norco is now a schedule 2 drug, it is narcotic that carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation.

Soma is a muscle relaxant that is very commonly abused and its side effects may include nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and headache.

Is there anything else I can help with?
