Hello Dena,

In the U.S the FDA requires that all prescription medication, such as oxycodone, are required to have an imprint on their medication for identification purposes. So at least we can rule that option out.

This leaves us with the following options, diet pill, supplement, vitamin or illegal substance. None of these options are required to have markings or imprints, but sometimes companies will still put a logo or imprint for their own identification purposes. If it were a supplement, diet pill or vitamin it would be very difficult for me to narrow down the exact one since there are just so many brands and types available on the market right now. I can't exactly rule out the possibility of being an illegal drug such as cocaine, heroin or PCP as all of these drugs come in the form of a white powder but none of these drugs are normally not trafficked by means of pill capsules according to the DEA illegal substance identifier webpage.

You can always exercise the option of going to a pharmacy and seeing if they will analyze the contents of the pill and verify at the least that what you have is not an illegal substance. If you would rather just dispose of the pill, you can do so at your local drug drop off located at any pharmacy or hospital.

I hope this information helps.
