Camber Oxycodone

So this s what I heard. The Walgreens brand that everyone was accustomed to was a Watson product and apparently a lot of their distribution was in Puerto Rico. The Hurricanes that hit the area in PR affected the distribution and production of Oxycodone at Walgreens. I went to almost all of there stores in mid December without any luck finally I resorted to CVS which had a Mallinkrodt product. Walgreens had to resolve their shortage as they were losing customers that 10 day period they negotiated with Camberwhich is actually a company from India that just set up shop and company in New York September of 2017. So I don't know if that is the product they are sticking with until Watson products become reliable or if they signed a contract. All I can say is I hope they have higher quality standards than India pharm companies that you get when you order from Canada. Wait and see

I sure hope they don't stick this Camber Brand. I took it and I have felt sick on my stomach, eyes itching, and one heck of a busting headache. Come next month I will start looking elsewhere for my usual brand from Activist. I never experienced those awful side effects. Pharmacy couldn't do anything about it. Said to call my doctor Monday which of course it being MLK day they are closed. It count the orange dye they use. But it's for sure there is very little pain relief from them. Just added more more with the side effects. Good luck with them. I think someone needs to check the ingredients in them.

Under the Hatch Waxman Act of 1984, generics are allowed to differ from the name brand by as much as plus or minus 20%. Thus, one generic could be stronger, or weaker than another.

The FDA does warn that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache.

What are the markings on the tablet in question? That would enable me to do more specific research for you. Can you please post back and clarify?

I called my Walgreens pharmacy manager today, who confirmed that Camber brand Oxycodone is now their planned, long term provider and if I had complaints, I should go to a different pharmacy or whine to the FDA.

Severe chronic pain is a terrible condition to manage and find a semblance of quality of life. In my case, as many unfortunate others, state insurance will not pay for safe & effective brand name Oxy - and it’s doubtful that Walgreen’s competitors will offer better choices if Camber is the profit maker I understand it to be.

And the FDA for help? Why on earth don’t they require generics ingredients to be 100% identical - rather than 80% required today? Judging from the notable lack of pain relief, constant, severe headaches, nausea and insomnia I’ve experienced since my Rx was switched to Camber three weeks ago, a 20% variant is a staggering, unacceptable crime against humanity.

I also got my Rx @ Walgreens. Part of Jan 2018crwfill & all of Feb 2018 was from Camber. Pharmacist made a point to say any differences were perfectly safe. 2 weeks later I started to have terrible symptoms similar to your & worse. At 1st I blamed it on various things until became so severe & weird, stomach mucus buildup, things I never experience. The Camber always had an odor, 20 days into using Camber, I opened the bottle and it popped like a soda. The small was horrible , like paint thinner & something rotting. Needless to say didn't take anymore & had a lot of emergency dealings getting a new safe Rx. I was helped by sites like this. Same date all this started for me, a lot of similar complaints & some had good info on Camber.It's now May & I'm still sick. Some herbal remedies helped with the worst symptoms, but my Dr. dismissed since Rx is with safe Mfg.. I tried getting the pills tested since I don't know what is causing the poisoning. I couldn't find a lab and ones that would test me were more $ than I can afford.I did find in my research that these new generic labs are generally not watched closely by the FDA , not enough agents to go around. Plus, any ingredient sourced by a third party source does not need to be listed, I.e. Lab in India & unknown ingredient supplied by China. A good research on Generics was eye opening! Some sourced via Business/Financial sources.Also a Supreme Court decision in 2012 makes any Genetic Mfg immune from action for damages.
