This tablet combines a Belladonna Alkaloid with 16.2mgs of Phenobrabital, it is usually used to treat grastro-intestinal disorders. It may also be used as an anticonvulsant.

Hi Arnette,

In non-medical lingo, here is the description for you. :)

Belladonna alkaloids + Phenobarbital is used to treat irritable bowel syndrome and ulcers in the intestine.

Hope this is helpful. Please let me know if there is any other information that needs to be clarified.

I HAVE HAD SEVERE ESOPHAGEAL SPASMS FOR YEARS.I HAVE BEEN TAKING BELLADONNAALK/PB FOR A MONTH AND I HAVE NOT HAD ANY CHEST PAIN.

@poppee, Yes I am taking this also for menopause. Mostly because not being able to sleep thru the night due to hot flashes. I have been taking it for about a week and so far it is working well.

I have used this twice for kidney stone pain. If you have kidney stone pain you know how excruciating it can be. Belladonna ALK/PB will take you from that to no pain in 15 minutes.
