Hello Mam, Congrats on your pregnancy. If you are apprehensive about this tablet, I think you should take a second opinion. Don't be scared to talk to another doctor. And in my opinion, if your doc has prescribed this then it should be safe. :) But finally, you should be comfortable, so maybe a second opinion would be best. Best o' luck.

Hi Ann - Congrats on your pregnancy and hope that you are doing well. Aciloc (Ranitidine) is in pregnancy category B in the United States, meaning that it is considered generally safe. I assume you were prescribed this for some acid reflux (heartburn) during the pregnancy? Like NJ said, if you truly feel concerned it would not hurt to get a 2nd opinion.

If you experience trouble sleeping, nausea, headache, drowsiness, diarrhea, or constipation - those are typical side effects. But because you are pregnant you should report any experiences or changes to your doctor. Hope this helps and I wish you a healthy pregnancy and child!

I am a diabetic and blood pressure patient who's pregnant through Ivf and my report is positive. Now I'd just like to know what's safe to take for gas and for blood pressure? Can I take aciloc 150 during my pregnancy?
