This is another way that buprenorphine can be manufactured and the drug companies are making MILLIONS. There is no reason that the Sub 8/Nal 2 should have been approved. Lessening the dose a couple of milligrams is just another way for them to put another buprenorphine project on the market for the sheer $$$. I would tell the MD that the drug wears off quicker (it does), and the lesser dose puts you in a state of withdrawal and you want to be put back in the 8/2...tell him that it is FAR LESS EXPENSIVE and far more EFFECTIVE than Zubsolv--and you can't afford it. Period. They have made a fortune thanks to "we opiate addicts" and it's a crime...something needs to be done.

Okay I'm starting to believe this is a smart forum. I went from 2 years on a nice white, round 8/2 pill generic to Zubsolv. It did take about a month, but with the benzos, gabapentin, and cymbalta… without any drinking or alcohol and I feel great every morning. Wach what you read on here

My dr told me they were equal to an 8mg strip. Although. I was wanting off all of it all together and told him most of it was in my head so he may said that to wing me down a bit. I like them much better. I've been in suboxone for far too long and I just want off all of it. I'm positive I'm strong enough, it's just that ritual or something. Idk?? We have tilled about getting the shot but I do not have an issue wit drinking at all never have and would like to be able to have a glass of wine with girls still or a Long Island tea at the comedy show. Can I get any opinions on that??

I've been on Zubsolv for a total of 5yrs. The 1st time I lived in Pgh., then Cleve. I went to two different docs in Arizona. And Arizona has never heard of them. As I was moving to Cleve the docs in Arizona just started hearing about Zubsolv. They work great for me and taste a lot better than Subs or Subutex. I got Subutex in Arizona.

I took Subutex 3 yrs ago, switched to Suboxone pills, then strips past 2 years and now the past month Zubsolv. The Subutex was a "high" taking them but definetly hard to taper off of. I liked the Suboxone but seemed I was always sleepy & gained a few pounds on them. The Zubsolv definitely is better tasting & has virtually eliminated any cravings or withdrawals but I feel absolutely no type of high or euphoric feeling. I was taking 10-15 Loritab & 1-3 OxyContin a day & the Zubsolv only took prolly 10 days/doses & I have NO withdrawal symptoms. It works & if your serious about getting clean & feeling normal again it's the best in my opinion...

I would like to add though... My doctor did tell me that he had several patients complain about the Zubsolv not working as well as Suboxone but he up'd the dosage to the 8.6/2.1mg and had better results from his patients

First off the subutext does not have the blocker in it so I wouldn't recommend it. I take the zubsolv and I like it but I hear it will be hard to come off of. I guess we will see because I am ready. I take the 5.7 and my Dr says they are equal to an 8mg Suboxone or the other. I'm more than ready to be off it all though. Good luck to you and keep in mind if you are serious and want this, it will work, it will help. And those you tell you they make you high are either livers or taking other drugs as well. I don't care what they say.

Get off all of it I've taken it all and have been on Suboxone strips, Subutex and now zubsolv 5.7 and I'm on day 4 without anything and I have almost zero withdrawls.... I told myself if God brought me this far without a withdrawal I'm not going back however I will add in that the past two weeks I started tapering off. I would go one day without and then take one the next day after that I would go two days without then take one then I would go 3 days without then take another now I have a whole one in my bedroom that is a reminder of what I don't want to be anymore or ever again. I have a 7 year old daughter, 6 year old son and a 8 month old daughter and they are my motivation they deserve me if a addict of five years can do this you all can and before I stopped I prayed and begged God that if he would give me no withdrawals I would stop and idk how I'm not having withdrawals that are keeping me in bed other than my mindset of never going back and the prayer to God that had to mean something. All I can say the longer you wait the harder it will be and I do know everyone is different but this has been my experience so far. Good luck!!!!

5.7 is the same as 8 strip. Zubsolv gets in yr system quicker and w little waste, as a strip may waster 2-3 mg on a 8 mg strip. The zubsolv, to me, is stronger, but I also get way more neaseu than I've ever had. Really I want off all this. Be normal again.

I feel you, man .if you ever figure it out let me know...please.. I've taken opiates for a decade and the past year I have been taking only a qtr. Of an 8 MG orange sub per. Day... I try all the time to go with out but after a day or two I start feeling the sickness.. I hate the fact that a Dr got me on opiates and another Dr. Gave me another addictive substance to counter that problem.. basically I traded one drug for another. I just have more time to get my fix before the SICKNESS kicks in..no matter ,what I do I can not ever get away from the control..... what a country ,to allow this mass attempt to fill every family with an addict and to turn our citizens into a bunch of addicted pursues that are impervious to pain.. I hate myself for allowing a drug or alcohol to have control of my life ,like this.. I've always been able to quit ,when I realized I was abusing something.. pain- killers and subs have completely jacked up my life.. why is there not a solution to this that is affordable and actually works? Where are the good leaders of this country looking out for our people? Why did they feed us another addictive substance when we were seeking help for addiction. It doesn't make any f@$÷ing sense

I have a different view. I was on Suboxone first, but changed to Subutex due to cost issues. Then my Dr quit and I found a new Dr who continued with Subutex, however 6 months ago discontinued it and insisted I take Suboxone again because he claimed I could mix Subutex with other drugs (which was a lie and not scientifically true). I hated Suboxone due to the taste and lack of effectiveness. Dr. prescribed Zubsolv and it was 10x better. Tasted better, lasted longer, and was more effective than both Subutex and Suboxone. Only problem is the cost! No insurance equals $280 for 30 day supply of 8.6/2.1 Zubsolv plus Dr fee and that's really expensive. But for the price, I prefer Zubsolv

i tried zubsolv before (about a year and 1/2 ago) to kick a 8-15 10Norco a day habit and after 2 months had bad withdrawal to kick the zubsolv. in december i found myself back where i started and went to zubsolv treatment again and now it's been almost 4 months and i'm afraid to stop this time. I may have access to some norco if it will help but the waiting period of 1-5 days for the brain to be able to feel the norco is what is scaring me. Any suggestions?

Can a person ever get off zubsolv? I have been on them for two years. I have no insurance, I pay dr. visit $125.00 a month and 350.00 for 30 day. Can I get any help please?

I've always wondered if napping on zubslov, or subs still work as good when you wake up? Esp when your next dose isn't until tmrw?

You are absolutely correct. So many people downing zubsolv and I can tell they still just want to feel high. I was on 10 30mg oxy a day. I let myself go 48hrs to slip into full withdrawal like it said, I fought the addict in me. I then took my first dose of zubsolv 5.7 x 2. Here I am 6 weeks later and not a SINGLE F***ING CRAVING OR WITHDRAWAL. Just 2 months ago I blew through $12K on pills. Zubsolv works as long as you dont act like f***ing addict who wants to feel high. It is a miracle drug for those who wish to return to the real world. I have turned my whole life around with friends, my job, and my reliability. If you want off then zubs will work, but you can't want off and still feel high too. That doesn't even make f***ing sense. Half of your problem is the getting high part. Seeking the high alters your brain chemistry rendering you useless. Suppressing s*** is only making you worse, coping is the b**** way out. I say that because I was being a little b**** for needing a coping mechanism, when I had this beautiful world around me. Let the zubs work and your addiction quit!!!

My Dr prescribed Zubsolv for detox twice daily. I took my first tablet of 5.7 / 5.4 at 7am then 12 hours later at 7pm I took the second dose. Am I taking it correctly? The Dr. didn’t give me dosage instructions. He’s not a good dr. Very rude. Please tell me if I’m taking them correctly? He gave me a 60 day supply.

My question is how do I take this medicine? Every 12 hours? Or 8 hours? Please, I want to take this med right. My dr. won’t take my calls. I leave a message to call me & he does not. He’s a horrible dr. He already messed up my second visit. My first visit I told him I’m here to get help to get off percocet, then the second visit his assistant prescribed me 90 percocets by mistake. The dr said (after I took the whole bottle) his assistant made a mistake. And he started cursing, yelling at me that I was a real f...... addict! That’s when he prescribed the Zubsolv a couple days later. Went to my appointment and he didn’t even see me. He gave it to his receptionist to give to me with no instructions. He never told me how to take this medication. Plz help.
