Xanax And Sulfamethoxazole

I took my antibiotic sulfamethoxazole 20 minutes ago. Will it hurt me to take one of my prescription xanax as well? And are u supposed to drink water with it to avoid sickness?

They can usually be taken together, as long as your doctor approves, but you may experience more side effects, which the FDA lists as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dizziness.

Water will not help avoid nausea, so it can be taken with most any liquids, other than alcohol.
