What The Hell Is Wrong With Tampa

ok i know the manufacturers are playing with the amout of pills available but come the f**k on my cousin tried filling a script of 100/10mg Percocets(sp) since the 19th of Novemeber. every damn pharmacy she goes to she told the same damn thing sorry its on back order. they tried to tell her that it was because the disributors had a mix up around thanksgiving. but hell its almost jan 1 and still nothing for her. Im sick of sitting there watching her in pain, the was on oxycodone 30's but those stopped being available in the area like around june so she had to change scripts. she has been going to the same walgreens fpr over 4 years she pick up a wide variitey of other meds from there all month long seem like 3 or 4 scripts a week depend on weather its her PCP she saw, her Therapist, Her Pain management dr, Or her EENT. Funny how those C*UNTS have her other scripts all the time but the minute she pulls up for her other script for the Percs its were out. its on back order . go try another store. your in here every day looking we dont have it try back later or go to another pharmacy. last month i put over 600 dollars in the damn gas tank trying to get her her scripts so i would not have to listen to her cry herself to sleep at night because of the pain. Can anyone help me I would like to get some normal damn sleep for once.....

I'm very sorry that she's suffering and that you have to worry about her and watch her suffer, that's awful.

However, there is almost always a shortage this time of year, due to the mandatory manufacturing limits. Once a manufacturer has reached their limit for the year, they cannot produce new product until they receive their new allotment amount, sometime after the new year.

On top of that, most pharmacies in Florida were found to have been filling prescriptions for more than the allowed amount per person per month, as well as keeping too much of inventory of controlled substances in stock and the FDA and DEA have started to make them enforce the applicable laws regarding those.

This isn't just happening in Florida, either. The shortage itself is widespread all over the U.S. and the pharmacy issues happened in several states, as well.

I am a Woman in severe Chronic pain too....just as your cousin. Im very sorry for her difficulties, as well as yours. I cannot getthe oxycodone that made it possible to walk without pain. The Dr. Gave me morphine tablets that simply knock ya out and do nothing for the pain. I Just wish Men who are angry at other Women WOULD NOT REFER TO
