It is a white oval pill with L484 on one side; used as a pain reliever similar to vicodin.

OBill's identification is correct and just to add specifics on the dosage for other site users, it contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen.

This is a store brand or generic for Extra Strength Tylenol and is available over the counter.

A good rule of thumb to remember is that these tablets with an L followed by 3 additional numbers are all over the counter products, that is all this company manufactures. However, if you see an L with other combinations that aren't just 3 numbers, then it may be a prescription drug product.

Are there any questions I can help with?

There are more Acetaminophen details available here for anyone needing more information.
