my 13yr old daughter was prescribed doxytet by the dr. for her pimples on her forehead, instead her cheeks is becoming dry with a rash, is normal or should i take her off the tablets

Hi. I have pimples all over my face I've had them for a very long time recently I started discharging I went to the Dr and she gave me Doxytet without diagnosing me, soo if maybe I was infected a long time and am only using Doxytet will I be treated will Doxytet stop me from discharging smelly stuff. Pleas assist me
