Teva Lorazepam Reviews (Page 12)

Updated

I'm seeking insights and reviews on Teva Lorazepam and its comparison with Leading Pharma's version. There's a notable divide in user experiences. Some report Leading Pharma Lorazepam as being less effective or having no effect, possibly due to variations in the active ingredient, leading to side effects or adverse reactions in certain cases.

While there are those who recommend Teva Lorazepam for its efficacy, others find Leading Pharma's version more suitable. Unfortunately, I haven't had the opportunity to try Teva Lorazepam since it's not available in my area – no local pharmacies dispense it.

My experience with other brands, post the discontinuation of Qualitest, hasn't been successful in finding a comparable alternative. I'm particularly interested in understanding how Teva Lorazepam and Leading Pharma's lorazepam differ in terms of effectiveness and user satisfaction.

If you've had experiences with either or both of these medications, your reviews would be incredibly valuable. Any insights into their efficacy, side effects, or overall satisfaction would greatly help me and others in our decisions.

I'm sorry to hear that Teva isn't working for you. As with all generics I'm hesitant at first.....when I got Teva I immediately looked them up..they bought out Actavis (who had bought out Watson years before). Supposedly (according to a Costco pharmacist who wasn't selling Teva but Leading) watson, actavis and Teva are all exactly the same formula including fillers. I've been taking Teva now for about 2 months.....I don't feel any difference from actavis (I take 2mg x 3 day).....but we are all different.

Richard, are you taking the new Actavis (without the Watson branding)? They switched over a few months ago (active ingredients and filler are the same), curious as to how they are working for you. My pharmacy is still selling Aurobindo, after several months of Leading and Actavis before that. Would love to reach out to you if there was a way… think we have a lot in common. Take care.

As far as I know, there is no 'new' actavis....Teva bought them out in 2021 and then used new molds (Actavis was using the old Watson molds-that's why the actavis still said 'Watson' since they bought watson around 2014.....Teva now owns what used to be 'actavis' lorazepam that used to be 'Watson' only this time Teva changed the molds so they no longer say 'watson'.

Re: Leebs (# 222) Expand Referenced Message

I wish I could get my hands on some more Aurobindo. The first generic that's worked for me since Mylan. Military buys whatever they can get their hands on the cheapest. If Leading/Major is the flavor of the day that's what they buy. My Pdoc started up on me my last visit. He's being heckled by his superiors about getting me completely off. They keep telling me the older we get the chances of getting dementia increases. The more stress they put me under the better the chance I might have a stroke or heart attack! Keep asking what will I take to combat extreme anxiety. They say therapy! Henry you think we all went through withdrawals? Dude I've been through a inpatient detox facility trying to get off Ativan years ago. The symptoms the person said below are mild compared to what you'll really experience if they took you off it. Twice in my life I've gone through it hoping I could do without. 4 days of sheer hell the first time. 28 hours the second time. Withdrawals from benzo's are compared to getting off from heroin. It's no joke dude. But we're not on a placebo. The withdrawals are our bodies trying to adjust to the different fillers and most of the time active ingredients. How the medication is process through your body is where the trouble comes. But I'm sure you've seen that out here. Y'all stay safe!

Only a pharmacist can tell you that......but I do know that the Watson of say -2012 was not the same watson of 2018.....but they were so similar no one seemed to notice because they still said 'watson'. Our belief that something works for us plays a big part in its ability to do so....not as in a placebo effect but the mind is very powerful......keep in mind we take this stuff because our minds are telling us there is "danger" when there is none...and our body/minds react to that suggestion.....not including of course those with hormonal imbalances......I find the absolute best way to get a generic to work for me is to take it then get very busy both mentally and physically....enough so that you don't dwell on it....stop checking your pulse, feelings, headaches, etc....live your life as best you can...there are those here of course that will disagree....vehemently I might add....but that's their loss...but keep in mind- except in rare cases (of course EVERYONE thinks they are that rare case) anxiety is the product of thought.....been there/doing that since 1967. and stay off Google...awful for phobics..

Re: gsrmike98 (# 236) Expand Referenced Message

You are probably right...i was told 2021 by my pharmacist but I'm thinking he meant it was approved by then.....it was in late 2021 that I received my first Teva tablets......but then he also said they were made in Israel but it turns out most are made in the Czech Republic....but indeed the communication fro Teva he showed me said Israel, the USA and 'other' markets.

Re: gsrmike98 (# 238) Expand Referenced Message

I felt no difference between the Teva and the Actavis. Everyone is different, that is why some love Leading or Actavis or Mylan , etc. As I said once before either here or another forum...I found it best to take the pill and them keep myself busy mentally and physically. The more we concentrate on how we feel, the more we will notice what we feel...one of the major problems of having anxiety.
