Suboxone And Urine Test (Page 5) (Top voted first)

I know Suboxone does not show up in a standard test. But the job I am applying for may do an extended test. I have a prescription from my Doc and I am on 16mg a day which by the way is wonderful. But I was wondering if anyone knows how long till my urine's clean?

hey I found your info very useful and am in a similar boat too. I have to take tests thru p/o office but am now on ankle monitor as well and took 2mg of sub last night around 11pm and have to take a drug screen thurs afternoon. I haven't used anything b4 that since fri morning again that was maybe 1mg of sub.The courts use a different test than p/o , I think its an E-Z test that spins urine or seperates it..i have passed the p/o test after not using for 68hrs but I don't think they check for subs..what chance do you think I have of passing and would stat flush or anything else work...PLEASE HELP!...ASAP...THANKS

Let's just make this easy, it takes Any medication 3 days to get out of your urine but it takes 15days for a blood test. As far as hair follicle tests. That could take up to 30days. Good Luck

I was tested twice a week in my out patient rehab program for three months. I have never had suboxone show up on any of the tests. Nor were their any false positives. However I dont know if suboxone shows up in a hair test. If your doctor did give you a perscription then bring either a doctors note or your pharmacy reciept to the test just to be safe, so they dont make any assumptions. If you dont have either, then it will be out of your system in 24 hours.

I have NEVER in my life heard of a drug court testing for suboxone.

Unless you are applying for a job that requires you to fly a plane, taking thid drug, with a legitimate prescription would be reported to your employer as a negative screen. I use to do physicals, drug screens for a state, as well as fir interstate CDL drivers. If your screen comes back positive, you will get a call from the physician, at the lab where your test was done. You will be asked to provide the name of the medications you are taking, annd then asked to provide the name of the prescribing physician, his contact info. and where the script was filled. You may also have to fax all of this info along with a copy of the lable on the prescription bottle, to the lab. Once they verify that you are taking the drug legally, your screen will be reported to your employer as negative. If you are a professional CDL driver, it isyour responsability to evaluate the drug's effect on you, as each person responds differently. If you feel like the drug is impairing your ability to drive, it is your responsability not to get behind the wheel. This is no different than the decision to drive or not to drive, after consuming alcohol. What employers who are drug testing are looking for are people using illegal drugs, or legal, controlled substances, without a ligitimate prescription from a licensed physician. Hope this relieves some of your pre-drug test anxiety.
