I read that patients can't see the implant but it's clear as day swimming inside my eye to me. Is this normal? Will it settle up or down, or am I forced to live with this thing floating around forever? ## There are cases where it can move to the front of the eye, such as if the posterior part of your lens is missing, or torn. Have you contacted your doctor to ask about this issue? They may be able to offer you a solution. The typical side effects of the Iluvien implant may include serious eye infections, eye inflammation, and retinal detachment.

I've been breaking out lately and have had many big nasty red pimples, so I was wondering if I used this would it clear it up??? ## Hello, Girly! How are you? You shouldn't use a prescription product, if it wasn't prescribed for you and, since this one is not formulated to treat acne, it could actually contain something that might make it worse. Have you consulted your doctor? Are you on any other medications? Has anything changed in your diet or skin care routine recently? ## Can I use Gelmicin to get rid of stretch marks? ## Can Gelmicin be used to help fade deep acne scars? ## Yes, it’s better to use unscented lotions.

I got a staff infection, after my cat scratched me. I went to the doctor right away because these horrible boils were popping up all over my body. I am now on my 4th prescription of antibiotics, back to back (different Kinds) The boils are still coming. I have scars all over my body. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to lighten the dark scars? What about Merderma? ## Where are the boils popping up? ## Mederma may help, many people have had good luck with it, especially if it is applied regularly, while the scar tissue is still relatively new. It's most common side effect is skin irritation. However, for the best results, I would suggest consulting a dermatologist. They would be the most qualified to help you reduce the appearance of boils, and scar tissue. What antibiotics ...

I put this combo on face fro 5 days as prescribed. Pretty awful for 2 of the days but all clear after 2 weeks. HOWEVER, then I developed a bad rash on my chest - did not apply cream there. Doctor doesn't know but thinks maybe the absorbed cream went systemic. Cortisone helped. Now a similar rash has spread to my legs and arms. not burning but supper bumpy and itchy. Scrambling to find help. Has anyone experienced a systematic reaction to untreated parts of the body? ## You are definitely having an allergic reaction to Something. Is it this creme or something else you are using causing it. The same thing happened to me and it was a nightmare. I also lost a lot of my hair. I was given a Kenalog 40 injection for a systemic skin rash (starts below the skin). After a week there was no change. Rash on arms and some on other parts either remained the same or spread slightly. Is it possible to be resistant to it. I'm 6' 1", 198 pounds, and, otherwise, in good health. In past several years I've been prescribed oral course of Prednisone which worked. However, even with a tapered dosage over 10 - 12 days the rash would rebound after about a week of clear skin. ## Kenalog contains Triamcinolone, it is another type of corticosteroid, but not every medication works for everyone that tries it. Its typical side effects may include administration site reactions, headache, rapid heart rate, irritability, and acne. Do you have any details on what it causin...

I'm 20 years old.. My skin is very damaged from the sun, tanning beds, acne, and maybe harsh products.. My skin was pretty perfect up until I had my baby. Even throughout my pregnancy I had very nice skin.. I used tanning beds a few weeks after having a bang and it like destroyed my skin.. I never had blotchy uneven red skin until then.. (Sun spots, redness, easily sun burnt, thinner skin, blotchy, acne marks) It's almost a year later and my skin isn't any better.. Why did this happen, what can i do?? ## I have been using Persivate for a long time and my skin is damaged. Please help me.

I would like to learn more about this medicine called "Graphites 30c" and how it can help with scars and adhesions. And are there any side effects? Thank you for your help! ## It is exactly that, Graphites, and they claim it can help reduce the appearance of scars. However, it is not an actual approved medication, it falls under the auspices of the HPUS, which is a Homeopathic Pharmacopeia of the U.S. Thus, this product is not regulated, and not actually proven to do what is claimed. I would also warn anyone with uncontrolled diabetes to be very careful using it, because the inactive ingredients are Lactose, and Sucrose, which are both types of sugar. Has anyone actually tried this product?

i have molluscum on my face since last 6months i m tired of taking tablets using ointment now doctor hs prescribed me lobate cream. So,will it give me good results or not? ## We had the same experience when our little boy caught molluscum at pre-school. We thought it was just a rash but it got worse and worse. After many months we took him to a medical specialist who suggested either minor surgery or just leave it and do nothing! ... and we paid her good money for the advice. The problem with the advice from doctors to just leave it is that it is contagious. So then his little sister caught it followed by our new born. It wasn't long until my husband and I also caught it. We understandably had had enough by this stage - late as it was. We researched the net and talk to our mothers i...

I recently had gernital warts on the outside of my vagina. I used wart magic which contained salicylic acid and now my skin peeled off and is causing a burning sensation. Can I use to Canex V cream to soothe the pain as it was suggested to me? ## Hello, Kyla! Very sorry about the problem you're having, that has to be miserable. But no, please see your doctor and get something that they say is safe for you to use on the area. It is far too easy to get an infection in your pubic area and you could end up making yourself even more miserable by using the wrong thing that could cause even more irritation. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## I had blisters and they were not painful, so I went to the doctor and she gave me doxycline + metrionidazole and a shot but still the infec...

Is there a NDC code for BioTE hormone therapy pellets? My insurance can't seem to find this product to see if it can be covered or reimbursed. ## BioTe is the name of the company, but I am not sure what they call their actual product. However, you can call the company and ask, they list their number as 866-560-1773. It's considered to be a bioidentical hormone replacement therapy. Their site also says that their statements have not been evaluated by the FDA, so since these are bioidentical, it might be considered a non-prescription, or non-medical product, so it may not be covered by most insurance plans. BHT products can still cause some side effects, such as acne, headaches, irregular bleeding in women, and weight changes. Does anyone else know more about BioTe?

I have dry and cracking lips. I stopped wearing my lipsticks but the dryness continues. What can I use to repair my lips? They are often burning and it hurts too. ## Hello, Juanita! How are you doing? Has there been any change? I used to experience that, when I had forced air heat, since it tends to cause the air to be very dry, I tried everything to help, and none of the ointments, or lip balms worked. I didn't find any relief, until I started using a humidifier to keep the air moist. It's also very important to make sure that you are taking in adequate fluids, since dry, cracking lips can be one of the first signs of dehydration. How much liquid do you take in each day? Are you on any medications that might be contributing to the problem?
