Milu, the active ingredient in Sazo is Sulfasalazine. Does the prescribing doctor know about your sulfur allergy?

This drug is generally not recommended to be used by people with such an allergy, because it has been known to cause them to suffer adverse reactions.

Deepak, the side effects to this medication can include: nausea, dizziness, depression and infertility, which only lasts while it is being taken.

Are there any other questions?

I got HLA B27 positive in my blood test. I had an intermittent back pain at the joints in the pelvic region. That is why doctor prescribed to test the above blood test. Now I am taking Sazo 500 twice daily for 3 months and then thrice daily for next 3 months as per doctor's prescription. Is there any side effects due to this long medication of this drug?
