Ugh I haven’t tried them yet because I got half Teva and half Sandoz at my last fill. I hope not I already have stomach issues.

I like Sandoz much better than TEVA but these stomach problems are hard to deal with. Today I'm so bloated and so uncomfortable and on top of that I'm so unbelievably nauseous. Why can't they make these drugs like they used to. It's really disheartening when you can't get a prescription that works (like they did 2 to 3 years ago?). I firmly believe that down the road we're all screwed. Too much generic, overseas garbage they're making. I don't even know why there's the DEA cause they don't do s*** to make sure we're getting quality pharmaceuticals. I'm so tired of this BS!

The new formula changed in early 2022, my NEW 20mg doses were barely working if at all. After a week on the 8th day it stopped working completely. I had to take more than prescribed to get any effect as I was forced to experiment to see if it was me or the Adderall. It turned out to be the Adderall. I have detailed history and specific notes to "Dispense Sandoz manufacturer generic IR only" that I can view by my pharmacy. You should never ever have to run out of medication due to poor quality control. I have taken 40mg IR consistently for months and this was not a tolerance issue at all. Even at higher doses something was amiss. My doc heard the whole story and wanted to move up to 30mg 2x a day. Again, not a tolerance issue whatsoever. The cognitive effects and duration have significantly changed. The onset, which on average, takes 20-30 minutes to feel immediate effects This is clearly and highly unethical behavior and I wish to speak directly to the direct authority who implemented this change and the reason why. Everything was fine since I have taken this exact generic for 3 years without one complaint starting in 2019.

Why Sandoz? Why did you destroy what was considered to be the "Gold Standard" generic of Adderall IR? Do you have any idea what you have done? Wait until people change to different generics. Oh wait I forgot, they all turned to crap as of 2022. I'd love to see the dropout rate for Adderall, period. You made a change and you're hiding it. Facts are facts. If this is to cut costs then I should not be surprised but you literally compromised the formula itself. I'm not in your labs. I'm not the guy creating or compounding the ingredients with whatever other crap your putting there, but whatever it is, it is affecting ALOT of people. The proof is in the pudding. Ask anyone who has been on Sandoz generic IR for years. They will tell you.

Your reputation is about to go down the toilet and that's very sad because you were the last generic standing in the eyes of many after all else went to crap. Including the notorious TEVA who in actuality has not had a consistent nor reliable reputation year to year.

Thank you for saying this!! The Adderall in the past 2 years sucks and it doesn't matter what brand. It's all garbage. None of it works like it used to. I could take a 1/4 of a pill and function clearly and perfectly. In the past couple of years I don't get very much accomplished in a day. This truly sucks!

Omg I tried both the new sandoz + teva ir 10 mg adderall last month and both made me feel very sick. I didn't even take my whole dosage either. The teva felt almost like a dirty MDMA/caffeine pill and I felt super tweaked out and couldn't sleep for 48 hrs. I felt super jittery and electric and couldn't focus either. The pill itself was also strangely chalky in texture. The sandoz made me feel like I had covid again it felt very flu like and I could focus but very minimally.

I have since completely stopped taking adderall cold-turkey since 12/8/22.

Omg good for you!! How was the withdrawal? Are you feeling better now? My sister and I both got horrible bloating, gas, diarrhea and/or constipation on the Sandoz. I was so sick all day Saturday and Sunday. I'm not going to take any for a while and see if I feel better. The TEVA brand made me jittery as well. This is unbelievable that there isn't a "true" Adderall available. I'm so tired of all the different side effects of this medication!!

Re: Sassy (# 7) Expand Referenced Message

I haven’t tried them yet because I still have some Tevas. I really should though in case they are awful that way I can ration what I have left for when I really need it. This is so stupid. I can’t believe our government is OK with medication companies just not being able to produce medication. Ridiculous.

Re: Sassy (# 6) Expand Referenced Message

it wasn't bad for sandoz! i was originally prescribed it 12/2 and i told the pharmacist and my psychiatrist that it was making me feel sick so luckily they still teva left and i dumped the new sandoz. however, the new teva they re-prescribed was even worse than the new sandoz.

for reference: These are both 10 MG IR during the adderall shortage.

the new teva withdrawal was rly horrible it felt like a harsh comedown. i took it on 12/8/22 but i didn't start really feeling withdrawal symptoms til 12/11. i feel much better mentally but i can't focus as well and i get fatigued extremely easily.

i've also been getting "brain zaps" since the evening of 12/11 which i've never experienced before from adderall (it's commonly associated with SSRIs/anti-depressant withdrawal). other than the weird brain zaps, that's the only lasting withdrawal effect i have so far.
taking nothing is honestly still better honestly than taking the new teva/sandoz.

i hope it'll resolve itself soon! it's crazy they're allowed to just release faulty batches like this.. definitely planning to make FDA complaints for both.

Re: Optimistic (# 1) Expand Referenced Message

So the IR version were fine, but then my next refill I tried the extended release. Now I have vomiting problems anyway so it could have been a coincidence, but I threw up three days out of the five that I took the Sandoz XR so I stopped taking them.

I’m going to just not take them or take the IR meds I have left over if I really need to take some thing. Maybe it was a coincidence that I had the vomiting anyway, but I don’t think so it normally doesn’t come every other day like that. My vomiting episodes are pretty predictable, they usually come when I start my cycle which was not happening that week, and if they are more than one day they are a couple days in a row not spread out over a week.

Re: stephen e (# 9) Expand Referenced Message

Thank you for saying this because Teva is the one that I am used to using and I did get a half of fill of those back in December or January, and they just don’t seem to be working as well, but I really thought it was just me and my symptoms were being extra problematic

Re: Optimistic (# 11) Expand Referenced Message

a little over three months later im still getting minor brain zaps and i still haven't taken teva (or any kind of adderall) ever since.

is teva still not back to normal? im beginning to think i should just learn to live without adderall again permanently cause i cant take the russian roulette with all the different generics switching up and the nasty side effects that take me out for days at a time ??

i'm praying that things go back to normal for you!!! or that at least you find the generic that works for you ??
