Rhodes/purdue Buprenorphine Hcl 8mg Rp B8 Vs Roxanne 54 411 (Page 32)

I have made the switch from the 8mg films to 8mg buprenorphine tablets only. With all the research I've done and experience I do my best to stay away from actavis mylan and nowadays sandoz. I noticed everyone has enjoyed the Roxanne now westward generics amongst hi-tech coming in second/mylan. I have no experience with mylan bup and don't want to take the risk even as mylan has always been a waste imo. I'm not a fan of allergan (actavis) taking over watson so depending on the drug dispenses I most stay away. There are as of now 7 manufacturers of generic buprenorphine hcl 8mg (generic subutex). They are in order of my preferred with not much experience except with brand name:

*roxanne (now westward pharma)- 54 411
*hi tech- 8 ^(arrow)
*mylan- M924
*teva (allergen/activas owned) crooked b 799
*actavis- moon 153
*sun pharma- 460 white round
[And the brand new released generic made by Purdue and distributed by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals the new Rhodes generic]
*RP b8- white round bevelled and pretending edges.

I currently have had a smooth switch to the Roxanne/westward and declined mylan, actavis, teva, hi tech, sun pharma as most research and reviews conclude the Roxanne/westward generics the 54 411 seem to be best reviewed. I was unable to find the Purdue/Rhodes pharma newly released generic RB b8 imprinted generic. All I know is Rhodes and Purdue are professionals in the process of making quality meds and not just quality meds but pain relief medication, as they even were the company to CREATE oxycontin. I was able to come across one image of them on the web and they look very similar to the Roxanne 54 411s in size color and mostly shape except for the rhodes/Purdue ones protrude or kind of pop out on each side beyond the bevelled edges. They look really well made and on one side they have RP and otherside b 8 which the b and 8 are fairly far apart. I have been doing great from switching from brand films to the Roxanne westward 54 411s so far. I'm hoping to get some feedback by next month on these newly released rhodes/Purdue generic buprenorphine hcl 8mg. They are the newest and just released October 2017 and look very shinny and quality made. I'm hoping someone here who has tried both the Roxanne/westward and the new Purdue ones imprinted RP b 8 tablets. I am going to try and have my pharmacy special order the new Rhodes generics made by Purdue again imprinted RP b 8 white round shinny tablets fairly similar to the Roxanne but look better quality imo but do not have much experience with generic just brand and am very well versed on pharma companies and their medicine and their quality each one has.

Has anyone tried these new rhodes/Purdue ones imprinted RP b 8? How would you compare them to the Roxanne 54 411 tablets... I hope for a response or it will be trail and error for me when ordering Rhodes next month if i stay on this route and will see how they compare to the Roxanne/westward but will not be til a month away. Please if you have any experience with these generics and especially the new rhodes/Purdue one let me know. Again I was able to locate only one image of them and they look great. They do not look small like hi tech more like a combined Roxanne and mylan with the shininess and how they pop out on each side..they look a little larger like the mylan and Roxanne not small like hi tech or teva or activas they are round tablet imprints RP b8 with b and 8 fairly far apart. Any feedback would be great and I would want to switch to rhodes/Purdue from roxanne (now westward being a factor) generics as they make quality are new just released and approved this year 2017 of October and no one how even mentioned them yet that I can find. With westward buying out Roxanne and them making changes a new generic made by Purdue may be just the one we have been waiting for and needing..again on the 54 411 ones now and looking for feedback on the new Purdue Rhodes ones and if the switch from Roxanne westward to rhodes/Purdue would be better maybe with better quality as they have always been a great and reputable company who makes outstanding drugs. Any feedback would be great.

I have a question about the adderall? I'm in florida, I cannot find 20mg anywhere I mean absolutely every single pharmacy around within 20 miles has zip.. they say they are on backorder until?? So I see my doc this Monday to tell him, which he should know about I'm sure I can't be his only patient to complain about this. I don't know much about other ADHD meditations and does other than vyvanse 70mg, and my insurance company will not pay for it..can you give me any advice what I should ask for? I don't want to just accept anything he offers, my luck he will rattle off a non- stimulant they just will not work, I tried one a while back thx

Not to mention they are most definitely stronger the Rhodes are...I was just on another medschat group and someone complained they have been on the 54 411s, I explained they didn't get stuck, they got Lucky!!!

I get b8 every month from Presque Isle Maine. My pharmacy switched all of a sudden from the 54411 to b8. I hope I never see the 411s again. The b8 are way better and cheaper.

I've been getting Rhodes for 5 or 6 months now and I can say for sure they are the best available generic right now. They are not as good as the old tevas or name brand though. Probably comparable to the old Roxanne brand.

Now that I got my Subutex prescription all set the damn pharmacy keeps changing my Adderall! The last 4 months, I've had 4 different brands & it's getting ridiculous! This month they are the 20mg Mallinckrodt brand & they are AWFUL!!!! How can they keep changing them so often & not even tell me!

I felt the EXACT same when ALL the pharmacies in my area stopped ordering the Roxane-Westward(54's) brand!! I got the RP B8's & amazingly they really are not that bad!! They look EXACTLY the same & I even looked up the inactive ingredients in both pills & they are EXACTLY the same as well. The only difference I noticed was a slightly different taste, it was like it was less chalky than the 54's. I will always prefer the 54's but if I can't get those then I'll gladly take the RP B8's. Hope they work good for you!!

Hey I been on 8 mg 54 411 from Roxanne for two years and nothing has compared its best by far about to go pick up new rap b8 from Rhodes and not happy about it at all I’ll be sure to let you know how it goes. Have you tried the rp b8 yet from Rhodes if so how is it??

i akways tell people when ready to get off a med when onky the person can decide when thagmt is to keeo you rx regimen going as normal and cut back on your own and taper cuz the moment u tell your doc they will go strong on cutting it back. i wud much rather taper mysekf with extras as needed. and the ceiling effect actually is 32 mg or 4 8 mg tablets in 24 hours see where my pain has worsened i need to locate someone with stronger pain relief and management on my own breakthrough pain desperately needs attention though wish to complete my search soon but already no luck. the pharma industry huh. whats going on with you now?

see i wish i could get pain medicene anywhere bur seems near impossible in my area which i know they are out there but my pain ks very severe was in recent car accident again got t boned hard and need to manage mt my tex with someone who has lain relief like for breakthrough pain rekief but i like my regimen and if i want to switch which i dont they wud have me drop a few keds i need and i dont want the medicak industry and government controling my pain as a middle man who will require more visits etc which i would prefer to stay on my bup amd other meds and find somr pain relieg out here search continues to manage with my tex for pain hard situation wish i could swap in situations been on long search for pain rekief meds for good long time now to manage wih my bup just need to locate someone who has pain relief

that is great! ya everyone is different and not all generics works for everyone. i have a few generics such as the 54 411 the teva and the rhodes and rhodes is identical to brand name with easily 2 times more potency and 2 times the potency and length than the 54 411 tablets. wish we still had roxanne 54 411 available bjt nope jjst the india shipped himkas but if all work well for you thats great mot everyone is so lucky amd its never ome size fits all with benzo stimulants and pain rekief medicene. some people just have a mich higher tolerance than others when it comes to drugs even if they never have jad any some people are either sensitive to and meds hit in hard and quick whereas some people who may mever tried any opiates may need a high dose lets say 80 mg then they do not one size fits all for these things wish though and thanks for the feedback God bless

yes it is horrible how bad these docs are getting. its a shame and a sham they do not care bout patient safety or health care anymore. they want u to get in and get out asap so they get paid docs have a sense of empowerment and if you show them u refuse to take that laced services or not caring and that u r paying them not the other way around that if they will not do what is needed u will take your money elsewhere. u need to talk to your docs with a stern passive aggressive tone and feel or they won't do squat for u. i wish i had a way to contact i would assist you but isn't allowed here unfortunately. my best wishes. if it is this bad at this point i would reccommend finding one of those one off private subuxone docs and don't use insurance just use your money and have them set u up on a payment plan and docs who get paind in cash not insurance much prefer cash patients and usually end up prescriptions cash patients much more and treating them much better. google search best private subuxone doc im your area look at a few and their bio and their reviews pick one call them try insurance if not just say u will be a cash patient and inquest after this what their rates are and if to high ask to get on their payment plan services this way u get a new doc and hopefully one who understands and treats u like an actual patient

Thank you very much goozer. I agree it is time. Unfortunately it took months to find this one, one who actually takes insurance in my state. But maybe going thru the main hospitals I will be able to find another one. I'm sure every patient that gets cut back claims it's the worst possible time.....but when I tell you I've never been more sick, weak and fragile in my life than I am right now. All this new dr had to do was look at my records or request other records to verify that I am being honest and legit. But she didn't care about that at all. And how do you convey to a person who thinks they know everything, but has no real experience, that even something as slight as a brand change can disrupt your whole life, much as less a totally different drug. I figure I'll go in next appointment armed with as much defense as possible regarding her "ceiling effect"....1st I'll ask her how much is her ceiling effect, without appearing too defensive. then I'll ask how can 16 mg be my personal ceiling effect when the bioavailability from each pill is less than 29%...when I read online about this So called ceiling effect, it refers more to subutex's inability to fully suppress your respiratory system, not it's pain relief effects. I am having my medical records faxed in showing that the first time I took sub with naloxone I endured crippling headaches and had swelling on the brain....That's about all I can think of to defend myself. I get so tired of being treated like I've done something wrong. Like I'm a bad person or dishonest or out to manipulate anyone, just bc I take this medicine. Believe me, as sick as I am I could get any pain meds I wanted. Yet still I have to fight for the lesser of evils. Anyway in the mean time my search begins. I swear I wish this dr hadn't done this to me Not right now. She could've at least let me fully recover from my most recent major surgery. It's only been 2 weeks. What a sorry person. She's in the wrong profession. Thanks goozer.

Thanks Charlene, much love. My wife has a express pay. We used to do our monthly shopping at walgreens which requires you to fill with them, so she does as well. Ad my biggest recommendation to anyone is never ever fill with walgreens unless they have your preferred generic and its your last fill lol. But yes, I do have another few pages. Thank you. I would not worry - the purdue family will pay it off and these rhodes have flooded the chains like I said they would at the beginning of this thread.

I would not worry too much, it will just cause stress. For now we are good but yes, these laws, especially in some states and such, are harsh and may get harsher. But should not be for subutex, and purdue will keep pumping them out and getting rich. Before you know it I'm sure there will be a new approved generic for our favorite med. I have a more than decent regimen at the moment and very grateful, but have been through lots.

Don't worry, we will be good for awhile. The hard part is not being able to be rx'd real pain medicine or good cough syrup. For someone like me who gets respiratory issues a lot, but other than that we are good. Don't worry, the government and wholesalers knew what they were doing years prior to releasing purdue buprenorphine for us. Always a controlled system and always follow the money. You are most welcome and I understand I'm OCD very much so that I know every wholesaler of my valley's pharmacies and with my routine lol I get it. But the rhodes are the exact same as brand name and the old Roxanne 54 411 are non existent anymore. The new 54 411 are made out of the country, but to each their own, I understand routine very well.

I cannot confirm this for your personal self or body, but the Roxanne you have been getting for last year have not been Roxanne. They have been westward or himka made, and yes, rhodes is made with same active and inactive ingredients as the brand name subutex. I have both the 54 411 and rhodes, and can confirm for me that they are two times better & two times stronger and longer lasting than the 54 411. Rhodes are same as brand, pretty much made by the purdue pharma famiy. They are quality tablets i assure you.

Shannon this is a definite time for a new doctor and clinic. Time it seems they have probably changed providers thus the way they do things. Don't lose hope, there are understanding Drs out there. Just keep your search going and if this is what she has done, say "i pay you to take care of me. If you aren't I'm taking my money and services elsewhere"... Time to find new Dr, new clinic. Look for a private suboxone / subutex Dr or the ihc or your city's big main hospital chains. Psychiatry and counseling will be a great choice. I have been there. My prayers are with you.
