Rhodes/purdue Buprenorphine Hcl 8mg Rp B8 Vs Roxanne 54 411 (Page 44)

Updated

I have made the switch from the 8mg films to 8mg buprenorphine tablets only. With all the research I've done and experience I do my best to stay away from actavis mylan and nowadays sandoz. I noticed everyone has enjoyed the Roxanne now westward generics amongst hi-tech coming in second/mylan. I have no experience with mylan bup and don't want to take the risk even as mylan has always been a waste imo. I'm not a fan of allergan (actavis) taking over watson so depending on the drug dispenses I most stay away. There are as of now 7 manufacturers of generic buprenorphine hcl 8mg (generic subutex). They are in order of my preferred with not much experience except with brand name:

*roxanne (now westward pharma)- 54 411
*hi tech- 8 ^(arrow)
*mylan- M924
*teva (allergen/activas owned) crooked b 799
*actavis- moon 153
*sun pharma- 460 white round
[And the brand new released generic made by Purdue and distributed by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals the new Rhodes generic]
*RP b8- white round bevelled and pretending edges.

I currently have had a smooth switch to the Roxanne/westward and declined mylan, actavis, teva, hi tech, sun pharma as most research and reviews conclude the Roxanne/westward generics the 54 411 seem to be best reviewed. I was unable to find the Purdue/Rhodes pharma newly released generic RB b8 imprinted generic. All I know is Rhodes and Purdue are professionals in the process of making quality meds and not just quality meds but pain relief medication, as they even were the company to CREATE oxycontin. I was able to come across one image of them on the web and they look very similar to the Roxanne 54 411s in size color and mostly shape except for the rhodes/Purdue ones protrude or kind of pop out on each side beyond the bevelled edges. They look really well made and on one side they have RP and otherside b 8 which the b and 8 are fairly far apart. I have been doing great from switching from brand films to the Roxanne westward 54 411s so far. I'm hoping to get some feedback by next month on these newly released rhodes/Purdue generic buprenorphine hcl 8mg. They are the newest and just released October 2017 and look very shinny and quality made. I'm hoping someone here who has tried both the Roxanne/westward and the new Purdue ones imprinted RP b 8 tablets. I am going to try and have my pharmacy special order the new Rhodes generics made by Purdue again imprinted RP b 8 white round shinny tablets fairly similar to the Roxanne but look better quality imo but do not have much experience with generic just brand and am very well versed on pharma companies and their medicine and their quality each one has.

Has anyone tried these new rhodes/Purdue ones imprinted RP b 8? How would you compare them to the Roxanne 54 411 tablets... I hope for a response or it will be trail and error for me when ordering Rhodes next month if i stay on this route and will see how they compare to the Roxanne/westward but will not be til a month away. Please if you have any experience with these generics and especially the new rhodes/Purdue one let me know. Again I was able to locate only one image of them and they look great. They do not look small like hi tech more like a combined Roxanne and mylan with the shininess and how they pop out on each side..they look a little larger like the mylan and Roxanne not small like hi tech or teva or activas they are round tablet imprints RP b8 with b and 8 fairly far apart. Any feedback would be great and I would want to switch to rhodes/Purdue from roxanne (now westward being a factor) generics as they make quality are new just released and approved this year 2017 of October and no one how even mentioned them yet that I can find. With westward buying out Roxanne and them making changes a new generic made by Purdue may be just the one we have been waiting for and needing..again on the 54 411 ones now and looking for feedback on the new Purdue Rhodes ones and if the switch from Roxanne westward to rhodes/Purdue would be better maybe with better quality as they have always been a great and reputable company who makes outstanding drugs. Any feedback would be great.

Why downvote me?! You must be one of the people who are getting the strips for free! My husband worked his ass off over 40 years and we pay 1000.00 a fkng month for insurance and I can’t get anything but some generic crap?! Damn straight I’m peed off like a mfer! That makes absolutely NO KIND OF SENSE!

I know, I understand it’s all bs! I was warned that this year would be a difficult one as the FDA would be all over it! I use hi tec and compared to anything else it’s what works for me! The orange ones the Rhodes bad for me made me feel like I was not on anything it was horrible at least for me. The pain pill dilemma and some companies being sued and all it’s done is cause havoc!! I liked Roxanne but they are gone and the 54/411 belongs to Hikma now and cvs sells it. Roxanne quit selling it or another co took over. It’s confusing I know:(! I liked Roxanne 54/411 the best they were to me anyway. Sorry for your frustration and everyone else’s! My dr said if I got a genetic that didn’t work to let him know and he would look into it.

Have ran the gamut of my suboxone changing every month. All brands are NOT the same. The Rhodes you mentioned work as well if not better in relieving pain !! I was very surprised. Hope this help.

Re: Goozer (# 3) Expand Referenced Message

Without a doubt the westward is by far the best!! My area now though cannot get them in all they’re getting is the new Rhodes brand and so far they’re not too bad but they’re still not the same as the westward. These new ones are way softer

Re: Goozer (# 3) Expand Referenced Message

I am currently on the b8 and was previously on 54 411 switching from the previous to the b8 has NOT been well for me . The medicine as merely no effect on me but has gave me terribly side effects head aches really bad and upset stomach . I’m not BASHING anyone as medications work differently with everyone’s body’s but it has not been a pleasant experience for me . I recently today actually asked my pharmacist about it and they told me that why yes it’s the same mg they are made differently and could very well explain the difference in effectiveness I’m having along with the side effects . I have been on the b8 now 2 months plus and will be switching next month because of the negative experience I’ve had . Wish you the best of luck !

Hikma is now what roxanne was. same logo, just a few changes, not the same. And that's odd, and also goes to show that I think every generic will act different on each indivisual (should'nt be by a long shot IMO). HOwever I have also been on Subs since 2012, nd I never even thought about what brand I was getting until 1 month Albertson switched me from the Big round Mylans to the small Hi Tech. And i'm a big believer in all generics will at least take a person out of withdrawl, however, the hi tec's just acted odd for me. That's the only time i've had a huge issue. As a matter of fact, that was the 1 time my Dr has ever wrote me a 2nd script. I called and told him what was going on a few days later when I started noticing I didn't feel right, and he happily wrote another one and I was able to get the Roxannes (when they still had them)

Re: Vic (# 865) Expand Referenced Message

Hey Vic, It took me 2 weeks to read this thread and all comments it changes my life goozer set it all up and haven’t heard from him. I’m on the Rpb8 and they are great. Sun brand is horrible and don’t like. I have never had 54 411 but have tried the suboxone version of hikma and they are good too. I like what this thread has to offer. I’m in Modesto Ca and we have Rhodes only at local pharmacy’s the major ones carry sun or don’t want ur business/

The Rhodes really is the best generic out right now. I've taken them all and took the Rhodes for over a year, then had to switch back to the west ward / old Roxanne / hikima brand and noticed a difference but I don't have a choice. Last month I got fed up with cvs being not willing to order me anything else so I brought in one of my Rhodes manufacture bottles that the mom and pop pharmacy used to give me before closing and asked the girl if she could order this brand for me and she did. When I took my first dose on the Rhodes again I couldn't believe how much better I felt on half the amount I was taking of the hikima. The only other brand that is good quality are those little hi-tech ones made in France but they are underdosed so I'm trying to get Rhodes from CVS but they always have an excuse. Rhodes is not a preferred brand of cvs so they give me s***. This month I was told I had to have a script in hand before they could order them for me but you deal with a different person everytime I go in of call so i have to explain to them what I want to do and they still always mess it up! I swear I have to do their job for them. I might as well go behind the counter and fill my own script.. It seems like I know way more than they do about a lot of things. I have to remind them of things over and over but they will still mess it up. Ugh I wish I had a good mom and pop around me that also would carry all the meds I'm on because I just want good customer service.

Re: Sinner85 (# 874) Expand Referenced Message

Hi,

Where do you live?

Can you google GoodRx?! No insurance needed. You put in your preferred brand and they will show you the best prices! You pick one you like, save it to that pharmacy, then they have to accept it, easy as that!! Good luck!! For everybody out there please be safe well and away from the coronavirus, it’s very frightening. I live in Washington state. If you listen to the news they will try to make you crazy!! Listen to a dr and or scientist for the correct info!

I got some official paperwork sent from the prime clerk LLC, grand central station p.o. box 4850 New York N.Y 10163-4850...it's a whole package of paperwork for the legal suit of the sackler family Purdue pharmaceuticals..my name and address is pre-typed out. It seems like they are asking me to fill it out and even asked me where and who should get the money or like am I interested..you see there's a huge litigation going on right now..I have no idea how or why I got this in my home mailbox... I have no idea what to do. Did they know that I have taken buprenorphine treatment since 2007, because the sackler family got Americans addicted to oxycodone? So if one takes buprenorphine plus was addicted, apparently anyone else who would want to get involved it sounds like the answer is yes you can.
