Is there a difference in the potency of the generic oval orange 30mg and the generic round pink 30 mg?

Where did you get them filled? They work for me better. I can't find them anywhere in south florida :(

I just started talking adderall. At first I was talking the orange 30 mg. Then I got my next prescription and they gave me the pink round 30 mg. The pink ones really suck. They made me feel awful. You know those caffeine tablets u use to buy at the circle k? That's what they made me feel like. Jittery, nausea, no energy, no nothing. What a ripoff.

I actually just picked up my 'script from CVS & they ARE the pink ones (30mg.) I normally go to another pharmacy that isn't part of a corporate chain & they are always the orange, I've also been to Walgreens a handful of times & they've been orange as well. This will be my first time talking the pink.

Walgreens supplies Tevas generic of adderall 30 mg. It is orange, oval with b 974 on one side and 30 on the other scored side. Hope this helps!

Walgreens in Michigan give the orange ones. So does rite aid. I am also looking for the pink ones. I prefer the pink for some reason. I even like the blue 10 mg better than the orange 30 mg. Odd

I am just curious about your weight and height? I am 5 feet, 95 pounds which is just what I should be for my height (I'm not super skinny/normal). I am 53 and was diagnosed with ADHD but also depression (since I was 40 and went through menapause which is early). Anyway, the dr started me on 5mg twice daily. Nothing happened and I drank a lot of water (I am familiar with the side effects since one of my children was diagnosed with ADHD when she was 12 and takes adderal). Then my dr moved me to 10mg twice daily. Still 10mg with 2 cup of coffee didn't do much--I felt a bit something but it wore off VERY quickly (I would say I get up at 9am and go to bed usually at midnight). Sometimes I wake up earlier. Still I feel like I need more than 10mg---more like double or triple at least in the am. Also, I am starving and eating more than usual---when anything wears off (and I make sure to hydrate and eat again because I know the side effects) I am actually gaining weight on this. Today I tested (without his permission) 20mg in the am. That woke me up better---but again wears off quickly---causing me to eat a ton...then took another dose of 15 mg and again wore off. TEVA brand. What is going on? Do I just have a tolerance for this?

I have always taken Teva's IR 30mg (for over 6 years) because I found Corepharma to be very weak, as well as most other brands

Yet, just --very recently-- the quality of Teva has changed. Teva is the orange "football shaped pill

My last two refills were absolutely horrible.....,and horrible is an understatement

Anyone in a similar situation care to comment?

My local Wal-Mart give me white 20mg and I think there better than pink and orange. I live in north NJ

I live in north New Jersey and I have tried all 3 but I take 20mg. I personally think the white ones are the best. My local Wal-Mart carries them. I went to CVS yesterday and got the cor pink ones and their not as good. I haven't eaten an orange one recently but I remember them. Personally I like the white ones

Yes!! I thought I was crazy! Was worried I was immune or something. Till I realized that name brands actually have different affects. Which is insane since every time u go pick up your script, it's not always the same brand. Doesn't seem right Considering. If u feel different, the meds mixing is different

I have Teva Brand and they are blue and coated. This is from Duane Reade/Walgreens in NYC

Definitely, the orange helps me focus more , better memory, it's like you have no problem solving problems, where the pink just seems to make me meditate on things longer than I need to be. Not as much positive thoughts with the pink but very positive with the orange

What strength and brand are you on and how many times a day? I am now on 20mg Orange Teva 20mg twice daily (or once if I don't need it---sometimes depends upon when I wake up). What is your situation?

To "6 Pack Tam" ....Dexedrine tablets are a single tier amphetamine (1 single type...) that also happens to be 1 of the oldest types in use, etc., but they are in NO WAY "stronger" than Adderall, because they - Adderall - are made of 3 completely different amphetamines combined together in a liquid state before being pressed into a tablet, etc., so the Adderall is always going to be fiercely stronger in every way, & in every sense. That's why it's so sought after by everybody and works so well!

No the teva orange football ones are by far the best. They make you focus but not to the point that you're frozen. They have the best taste and they don't make me crazy. I am calm on them and can do about 10 things at once. I love the teva brand and I only will have those filled. If they are out of stock I will wait for them. I have tried all of the the pink ones, the blue ones and the white ones. None of them work as good as the orange football teva.

Teva (in my opinion) was the best generic Adderall.

Yet, it seems that the potency / efficacy of Teva Adderall IR has markedly decreased, and I have noticed this for the last year, but most intensely, within the last 3mo.

james and airb: wondering your ages and how much you take? I am 53. First began blue teva's 5mg and 10mg (TERRIBLE and NOTHING HAPPENED). The Dr moved me to 20mg orange Teva footballs. They work. I take one in the am and one mid-day. I'm only 4'10 and 92 pounds. It is helping me actually gain wait because I am starving when it wears off. I know the medicine make your heart beat faster and make your blood pressure high so I don't know if it would be smart to increase the dose? What dosages are you on/age/weight and does that make a difference in scripts? I pay to see the dr but the script is covered under my plan. I don't look at these as a way to stay up for 36 hours...more as a concentration/study/work/aid and have more general energy and lexapro didn't help. Apparently Dr's now recommend ADHD meds like smaller doses of adderall (teva brand again) for people like me who nave concentration, energy, and organization issue. Please anyone comment on this.

Could some people post what their dosages per day so that I can evaluate my dose, which is 30 mg twice daily IR.

I just want to make sure my dosage is appropriate, so if you'd be kind enough post your daily dosage, this will help compare with others

What does generic 30 mg Adderall look like? It's supposed to be pink or orange but it's greyish and has an M on one side and 30 on the other. Is it Adderall? I just picked it up at the pharmacy.

Yes...there is a difference between Teva's orange oval and Corepharma's neon pink round pill... The difference is that one is currently available for sale (Teva) and one has been discontinued (Core) and is no longer made. The end...of this thread.
