The 5mg ones do have a score on the back. I'm told that the 2.5mg ones are the ones that do not have a line.

I I spent several hours online trying to verify the authenticity of these or not and I decided that yes they are real and they come from a reputable company that only makes generic medications and that's maybe that's why we haven't heard of them for this but I've been taking them for about 2 months now, and they seem to react just about the way the other brands do. I really can't tell any difference so don't worry about it. However for your own satisfaction you might want to do your own search on it. The company's name is Camber and they're out of India but that doesn't necessarily disqualified them.

Just called and spoke with a Walgreens pharmacist.
(1) Walgreens corporate switched providers for genetics and it’s out of the pharmacists control.
(2) We cannot exchange them for another generic brand, it’s “out of their hands.”
(3) We have to contact our doctors and take our prescriptions in to them to dispose, and receive a new prescription to take somewhere else.
This is exceedingly frustrating—especially since the pharmacist acknowledged these do make people sick, and they have had thousands of complaints.
Moral of the story: don’t go to Walgreens.

I had the same problem nausea throwing up and have been on the same dose for 3 years the new. Camber made me sick and my mouth and tongue turned blue before I swallowed and stayed blue all day

I’ve been going rounds with my local Walgreens about this Camber OxyContin. I’ve spoke to multiple supervisors, and pharmacists trying to get my Activis Brand back in stock. The Camber brand made me deathly ill with vomiting and diarrhea. A person contacted me from Camber and said due to the high volume of complaints, they’d be removing the Blue #1 dye from their Oxys. But I also noticed the pills are very weak compared to Activis. This war on pain meds is affecting legitimate chronic pain sufferers. Meanwhile all the junkies continue to get their meds off the street, illegally and are killing themselves. Thanks Junkies!

My daughter is having the same problem. She is sick after taking one and it does not give her any pain relief and I also thought it was a placebo. Are there more people having this problem. If this pill has something wrong it could Really hurt you.

They have blue dye in them just as an identifying agent not an abuse deterrent. There are NO abuse-resistant features to this meds however they have been known to cause many issues with stomachs and other issues with them not working. This company is from India and has been known for some time to be horrible with their meds and have had many lawsuits due to medications causing harm. They are new into the oxycodone market and seriously I would not trust them ever and this is why I will always write on all the scripts I give out "Do not fill with Camber Pharma" to make sure my patients don't have to deal with this company.

My mother recently started complaing about her stomach hurting her. I was just adding it to her list of problems. But now I think it might be related to the new generic percocet pill that turns blue when it gets damp. I have thought back and realized she started complaining about her stomach as soon as she started taking those new generic percocet pills. I'm glad I read the other comments. May not have placed the two together.

It's a blue dye that prevents the pill from being abused, but they still can be abused. Yet, if abused or iv'd and you were caught by law enforcement they would identify the narcotic.

There is no abuse deterrent in these meds it's for simple identifcation purposes by pharmacists. These meds are horrible and there is thousands of complaints with these. So please if you don't know really what's going on then do not answer as it makes the internet folk look even more stupid.

Unfortunately the pharmacies as I've been told by the pharmacist. Don't have any control over what the drug companies send them. Another bad drug is the brand Westin which is typically found in Norco. I complain to my doctors about these differences in the brands but they refused to recognize the problem and simply look at you like you're a drug addict. Someone with chronic pain that has no cure will most likely be on pain medication of some sort throughout the remainder of their lifetime so it's important that we know what we're ingesting and it's important that we have a say so and what we're being prescribed.

How can you possibly endorse these pills? Do you not see reply after reply after reply of what these things do? Some of us are going to live with chronic pain our whole lives because we don't have diseases that are curable and need a medication that's going to work. I understand that there's an abuse and addiction problem for people who don't even need these pills but there are some of us spending $45 a month taking a U/A to stay out of pain so we can get up and function. If they continue to attack the opioids it's those of us that truly need them that will suffer because we're not taking them recreationally. As a matter of fact, if you're taking them because you have horrible chronic pain you don't feel high off these drugs, it simply removes the pain which is what we need.

I found another source for these. The pills are oblong and are imprinted with "U15UI. They are carried by Safeway and so far (two days) are working well. The pharmacist is aware of the problem and asked me to keep her posted.
