Pharmacies That Carry Buprenorphine Made By Mylan Or Roxanne 54 411 (Page 20)

I've been taking Buprenorphine 8mg for 3 1/2 years now, all of a sudden every pharmacy in our area (that I know of) has switched the manufacturer they are order from, frustrating to me as I just seem to see a difference all though there shouldn't be. Does anyone know a pharmacy that still carries bup mg with the imprint 54 411?

Thebenzolife how do you order your Subutex before you get a prescription? My pharmacist laughed at me when I asked about this and told me it doesn’t work like that they get what they get

That's the pharmacist just being an a-hole. I have stumbled across forums that were pharmacists talking to each other about their feelings regarding a person calling and asking about a specific brand. They said if someone does that it's because they abuse the medicine, the street value of one is higher than the other and just 100 diff rude nasty comments about why someone would ask. I thought this was disgusting. They were talking about people on Subutex like we were active users. I have been clean for 7 YEARS STRAIGHT and I prefer the 54 411 or if they don't have that around any other LARGE, round and white ones are fine. This isn't for any other reason than I have taken a specific kind for so long it messes with me when it changes. That's totally a mental thing I know! Lol. Also, I absolutely can't stand the flavor of the ovals half Moon ones. They aren't as nasty as Suboxone but I had that brand once during my last pregnancy (yes I have had all my children on maintenance medication. All were born healthy and happy. They never went into any withdrawals. I nursed them all and believe this was a huge reason that they never experienced issues) But I couldn't handle the taste of the oval kind and my morning sickness mixed with that resulted in a morning spent laying on the cold floor of my bathroom. Now, I continue to ask because I split my doses up into 2 mgs every hour or two. I am on 32 mgs a day. When I get the small kind I find that the breaking of them results in then either not breaking correctly or they Disintegrate almost immediately. I have used a pill cutter and all and to no avail. Needless to say, I need the large white ones. I am okay with the M32s or The B8’s if I can’t get the 54 411’s.

I find that if you explain to the pharmacist that you can’t take the oval or orange ish Subutex because of any of those reasons that they tend to be more responsive. I have had it Added to my file, as well.

But, all that being said they can absolutely order them ahead of time. If you call to let them know you will be filling you prescription the next day and want to make sure they are in stock, usually they will tell you yes or no. If they say no, and you use this pharmacy normally, you can ask if they are able to order them for the following day. Sometimes it’s due to a shortage and they can’t. But, usually they will do it with out a problem.

UPDATE its been 3 months since my last post and things have deteriorated. The pharmacy I have been going to for about a year just stopped carrying Buprenorphine with no warning or explanation. Had my normal Dr visit at 9am then my prescription is sent over electronically before I leave. Pharmacy usually texts me its ready, I didn’t hear anything all day so I decide to go in at 5pm give my name birthdate they cant find it.... I tell them I always pick my prescriptions up here and then they ask what is it? Buprenorphine I say... "Oh that's why, we no longer are going to carry it sorry". Was anyone gonna even call me? So I have to find a new pharmacy? "Yes and we can't transfer your prescription so you have to call your Dr and have him send a new one to your new pharmacist."

I call around and most said they are no longer accepting new patients for Buprenorphine finally I found one after about 20 calls and he said he’s had about 100 calls just today about Buprenorphine I told him what had happened and which pharmacy he was actually helpful and even tried to get them to transfer but they wouldn’t so I had to wait till next day. I go there next afternoon the pharmacist tells me they had to stop taking new patients because of so many calls. I was surprised at the price for 60 45 411 I used to pay $198 and at the new spot 60 RP is $240 at least they will have them when I need em I guess. What I don't get is why hasnt Hikma noitced that thousands and thousands of customers all of a sudden just dropped off? if its happening in North Carolina it has to be happening in other places right? I will email them again but not sure what good that's gonna do.

I am experiencing the same thing. I live 2 min from two pharmacies and neither have it. I now have to go 45 min. It's getting crazy!

Where can I find the 54/411 print buprenorphine in Jacksonville FL? I went to a pharmacy and they refused to take a new patient, they said tough, it is my 1st prescription. I have had the orange and other brands, they are gross, and I just prefer the one with the 54/411 print. Better tbh.

Hello! I live in the Monroe NC area. Can anybody tell me pharmacies near me that carry the WW 54 411 8mgs. My usual pharmacy is out and this actavis brand is terrible. I have been taking the 54 411 for 4 years and I have never felt so bad.

I live in Augusta Ga and I'm want to know the same. Where can I find the 54 411 subutex? In Florence Sc I know Walmart has them but my doctor here doesnt work with wal mart. I believe the 54 411s are made by Roxanne.

I'm not sure where your located but I have finally found a grocery store chain named KROGER.
I live in Dallas and you can ask your doctor to write on the prescription the type of Brand that you want and the Pharmacy is suppose to order it by his instructions. Its on the bottom of the prescription itself that says, "BRAND NAME" Otherwise check out your local KROGER PHARMACY.

Had same problem with my temazepam from Mylan. They placed it on "Mfg delay" Dec18. No other Mfg. of temazepam compares to Mylan!!! 5 different pharmacist explained Mylan apparently had 1 tiny component that others didn't. Apparently true. No other Mfg. Work. You may never get your med by Mylan again. They probably stopped Mfg. Sadly. Website still says Mfg delay for mine. Since Dec 2018!

Same here in oneonta ny I’ve been on the orange octagon ones for a couple years last month I picked up my script and got home and had round orange ones come to find out they couldn’t get mine anymore I do not like these new ones they burn the underneath of my tongue almost like holding hot hot peppers under there it’s awful I called and they told me I stuck with them for the month my new script is due tomorrow so I called to see if they had my original ones they don’t but they have some new one that’s shaped like the old one idk I get to try it for this month I’m just hoping it’s not like the last month

I know that your post is from 2017 but I'm hoping you'll still be able to offer some help. They are the only ones that work for me and I cannot find them anywhere! I just don't get this? What in the hell in the DEA f***ing thinking. They let Dr's get us hooked on a money making scam, that causes addition problems, then we get a decent medication that we have to take in its place and now "oh no too many of those" WTF!!!! They are idiots and they are going to cause a lot of ppl to go back to using. I am just saying. They do not know what they are doing. Get your s*** together DEA.
