Pain Pill Identification Please Help!

The pill is capsule form with absolutely no imprint. Half dark brown and half tan/light brownish in color. (I don't know my in between colors but I'd say tan is the best description for one half but it looks a little too light greyish to be tan. Anyways my friend gave me a few and said it was hydrocodone 15mg.. I tried one and it is definitely stronger than the norco 10's which I was prescribed after knee surgery. It seems too strong to be hydro 15mg and I've never heard of such a thing. Has anyone seen these before? I don't want to take these i they're oxy's or morphine...

It might be Kadian, which is a morphine medication. Kadian comes in various dosages and the capsules can be one color or two mixed colors. The drug is actually tiny 'bead like'- thus while you 'hear noise'.

I filled a prescription for codeine 10 mg in Belize... they are round brown/tan speckled. Anyone else try these? Not sure what we have. Didn't realize there was no information on the pill until we returned home.

lupe, it is either not made by a manufacturer that is approved by the FDA to sell in the U.S. or it may be made by a compouding pharmacy. Compounding pharmacies make specialty medications up based on a drs prescription.

Hello, Jed! How are you?

If it is a capsule, then there is a chance that it might have been something specially ordered by someone's doctor and made just for them by a compounding pharmacy, that would also explain the lack of imprints and unusual dosage.

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Unfortunately, the only way to be sure would be to pay to have them lab tested somewhere, so I can't conform that's what they are, but it is a definite possibility.

Is there anything else I can help with?
