Please Help Find Oxycodone 30mg In Sarasota Florida Need To Fill Script Asap (Top voted first)

Updated

My husband has been relentlessly trying to fill my scripts for over a week, spending hrs on end daily, going from Parmacy to Pharmacy, with no luck. I've had CHRONIC pain for near 8 yrs from car accident, where I was sole survivor. I've never had a problem filling my medications until now. I can NOT function without them and have no hope of any quality of life without the assistance of these. My pain is unbearable and I can't stand that my children have to see me in pain. It's humiliating for my kids to see me cry, struggling to do simple tasks. I REALLY NEED FOR SOMEONE TO HELP ME find a Pharmacy that has in stock in Sarasota FL. I've even called my Dr to see if they could change my scripts, so I don't have to be in so much pain, and apparently he's out of the office until next Wednesday. Ug!!!! I feel absolutely useless. Please, if anyone can suggest to me where to go, I'd be grateful. I feel that the DEA is screwing with the "legitimate" patients lives!!! Instead of making it "unavailable", because of all the people that have been "abusing or mis-using" it , maybe they should take the time to do their due diligence on patient's medical records, and determine it on a "case-by-case" basis.
I'd really appreciate ANY help anyone can provide.

Joey the jerk o**, I see your judgemental posts on 2 threads in here. You're an arrogant nasty unsympathetic being. Who made you judge and jury? DONT judge when you know nothing about people or pain. Go harass: other people, obviously, you have no life or you wouldn't be :upsetting,:people in these forums. Take a hike you jerk.

I have never been in intractable pain, but my sisters have a genetic disease that causes them terrible pain that is often not helped with drugs. You have no idea of what you are talking about. Chronic pain is a terrible ordeal and to have to endure it day after day is unbearable. Try to have a little compassion, dude.

By your own words you're an addict. You should've exercised your brain more. You work in a pharmacy, so I'm sure you have no problem getting your meds. A junkie who works in a pharmacy, how ironic! You seem to know a lot about snorting pills. By your own words, you should be off the opioid by now. What a hypocrite.,

You accuse in both posts of them crunching and snorting their meds. How dare you! None if us should be subjected to someone like this person. Best ignored, because he's a fool. It makes me angry someone like this is enjoying other's suffering, and assume people are snorting meds.Ignorance is all around us, but I will stand up for those in chronic pain, and will respond to an ignorant a** hole. Most are here to support one another, but a few post to try and make us feel worse. To those, I wish they could suffer 1 day, and they would cry like a baby and beg for medication. You'd be the first 1 sniffing your pill. Now leave these people alone.

You obviously don't know the difference between addiction and dependency. Look it up jerk. You are addicted obviously, whereas I'm dependant. I haven't been able to fill oxycodone since may. So dont call me an addict. I have multiple MRI's with many problems. Don't post your bs how we're all.addicts when you are an
addict yourself. What's your point? You degrade everyone here, when you are able to get your oxycodone. Most of us can't fill our meds. Instead of spending time judging others, get your facts straight about addiction and dependency So shut up a**hole.

You're too ignorant to know the difference. You're getting your meds, so stay out of here. Wtf are u doing in this forum when you have your med? Because you want to degrade people. I won't answer to you anymore because you're a moron.

Apparently you are VERY NIEVE a person dependent upon ANY opiate for many years can NOT stop cold turkey - they run the risk of serious heart damage and other serious complications that can and does cause death. So since you are so smart and I am going to guess young with no other health problems - YOU STOP COLD TURKEY and let some one who is more dependent and at a higher risk than your self righteous self have the meds that your PHARMACIST fills for you. Oh and ANOTHER thing that your NATIVITY shows TRUE PAIN PATIENTS DON"T get high from their medication their pain burns up the meds so there is no high the DIFFERENCE between the Addict & the Dependent. So PLEASE have your facts straight & your medical license upto date before you start accusing honest people looking for honest help - You my friend are jilting the system & being egotistical about it.

Just what this forum needs, another judgemental jerk. Do us all a favor and preach your self righteous bs somewhere else. Why do people like you read our posts? Is it morbid curiosity, or do you get off on others suffering? When you've walked a mile in my shoes, you can only then make a stupid comment. Until then, get lost.

To whom it may concern in Fla.
I have had back problems for 5yrs now and am currently on Oxy's low dose I would call them 5/350's and soma 350's. I live in Orlando and have been going to the same pharmacy for 5yrs. I have no problems with them filling the meds. maybe if you ask your doctor to lower the mg. on the perscription it would be easier to find a store to fill them. I have never been turned down or looked at like I was crazy. I think the pharmacies are not stocking the higher doses of oxy possibly. I am not sure so don't quote me. I think that if you stay at one place like walgreens or cvs. You will have better luck. I am sorry for your chronic pain. I to have it but have learned to take the lower dose and I feel so much better. Good Luck

@JoeyMotz... Are you aware of how ignorant you sound? Your self-righteous babble is ridiculous. YOU probably ARE "addicted", however, I and others who ARE in "Chronic pain" and have been for years, know the difference between "addicted" and "dependent"...
And you're on Oxy's for a "weightlifting accident"... Wow. After undergoing numerous medical procedures, and therapies for years, yes, I now rely/ "depend" on prescriptionfoot assist me with being able to function throughout my day. I choose to NOT have multiple disc's removed; I chose not to have my disc's fused, and walk around NOT being able to turn my head, I chose NOT to go through surgery after surgery, being informed that the success rate of having a positive outcome is less than 25%. You truly have NO CLUE of what you speak, and should keep your asinine comments to yourself. My body DEPENDS on these meds in order to be able to FUNCTION through daily activities with less pain. My brain does NOT need the
meds. There IS a big difference.
Thank you Panicnpain and Lizzylegs....

@ Joey M. Any of us who have chronic pain issues that compromise our lives by reducing our quality of life AND who have been on any pain medication for even 6 months are, of course, habituated to that drug! Would you prefer that this poor woman drink her pain into control in front of her children? Perhaps you would rather see her on the seedy side of town, buying illegal drugs??? Hmmmm, Bucky? Is that your compassionate response? Who are you to shout "addict" in such a pejorative fashion? Believe me this woman knows she is dependent on these medications....an accident & doctors lead her to this point. The government/insurance lobbies have taken up the practice of medicine....oh goody! You better pray you are never in thos woman's shoes...you simply can not make that judgment no matter what your past medication history may be. Just the facts, jack!

@ Joey Motz: seriously, no one believes a word you say, and I will tell you all, as a third year med student, this guy has ZERO medical education and has never experienced severe pain. So disregard him as an idiot and a judgmental, arrogant moron. Thanks :)

Joey, are you a doctor? Unless you are, you have no right, you should b ashamed of yourself, unless, you know the whole story!!!! Hope you never know, how it is to have chronic pain!

I don't understand how the DEA and the government can tell you how much pain you are in. I did not know that they have medical degrees. They makeit hard for people with legit medical problems to get there meds. They need to get out of the medical field. The government needs to work on the economy and the DEA on illeagel drugs. They have people cut off and wonder why there is a heroine problem. By the way I am not an addict. Don't take.opiates. Just concerned about the way people are treated

@ motz, You contradict yourself. You get your med filled, so why are you on this thread? You are no better than any one of us. A legit patient/ script is someone who doesn't Dr shop, and follows the rules and is in chronic pain. You're no one to judge. I'm surprised you are allowed to work in a pharmacy, don't understand that. You should be drug tested, and that would tell them you're an addict. Now go post your self righteous bs somewhere else.

Oh, I see... You are one of those pharmacists that think you are an MD! LOL. POOR LITTLE GUY. Pharmacist should shut their mouths and fill the script that a real doctor wrote. pharmacists don't know the medical problems that people have, nor should they. Shut up and fill the script. Btw, an addict is looking for a high and can't quit even if they wanted to. Someone who is dependent isn't looking for a high and could quit whenever they want to. Quit sniffing and shooting them and they will last longer instead of only lasting 45 minutes.

As FL pain patients we need to work as a large group and find an lawyer who work pro bono ( for free ) to sue the state for laws that are un-constitutional and denys pain patients a known and approved form of medical treatment for those patients who suffer from severe and chonic pain About 2 years ago there was special done with Lisa Ling ( I think it was on MY America Nat G O)who did a showing on how easy it was to get pain meds in FL It would be great if we could get someone like her to do a follow up on what is going on today. Instead of following addicts the show could follow people who are suffering from debilitating pain as they go from one pharmancy to the next with all of them giving some sorry ass excuse on why they do not carry the medication anymore. THIS WILL NOT GET BETTER. In fact a friend last week had major surgery and had to go to 8 pharmancy to get 20 perocet 5 filled. If you have any time please fill it by writing letters to your state congress people and to your local newspapers. Keep a log for all the places you have gone to, date and who you talked to. This problem will never be fixed unless we get heard.
