I filled a prescription for 10 mg generic oxycodone at a pharmacy in Mexico. It is a round white pill with no markings at all. It came in a sealed bottle that says "PERCO 10 mg". Below that, it says "Oxycodone 10 mg". In small print, it states that is manufactured for Generic Lab Inc. Corona CA by Purdue Pharmaceuticals. It even lists the US Patents for the drug. Is this a legit generic drug they were able to release without any markings in Mexico? I only took it once and they did nothing. Should I be afraid to take them?

It is hard to know for sure. Mexico really does not regulate their medications like the U.S., Canada, and some other countries. Thus, there is no way to be sure what these tablets contain.

The FDA warns that Oxycodone carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.

Has anyone else taken this medication? If so, can you chime in with your experiences?

They are crap/don't work - I took some last weekend. When you eat it, it tastes like horse s*** too, so, there's that.

I have filled several prescriptions by mail order for different controlled meds. I always had successful experiences with order deliveries when I know I could have easily been mistaken. So many times my fioricet looked different, some even hand made. I took my prescription regardless and luckily had no problem.

ONE QUICK VERY SERIOUS WARNING: I LIVE IN NEW MEXICO, AND THERE ARE WHAT'S CALLED "MEXICAN OXYS 30MG" BEING DISTRIBUTED. (They do not tell you that name, they tell you it's Oxycodone from Mexico). IT'S A BLUE PILL AND APPEARS LEGITIMATE. BEWARE... I OCCASIONALLY would run out of my prescription and would resort to them.

However, after a while of taking these I was experiencing some strong, whole different withdrawals which were not good. Let me set straight that I have never taken illicit drugs. And long story short, some internet searches indicate that these "Mexican OXYS" are in Arizona, New Mexico, and a few other states. I also read that they have killed people immediately and they actually have zero legitimate pain med ingredients. Most have an unknown amount of Fentanyl and other illicit ingredients. No wonder people were instantly dying!

Outside the United States they can not and will not not care to try to regulate the doses. These Oxycodone from Mexico never helped with my actual chronic pain. A different feeling. I was basically getting my Rx filled with a Russian roulette pill. One may be great, the next could immediately kill you. Please take a moment and research. I stopped filling my prescription outside the country and don't ever want that road again. Best of luck to you. Just remember that mail order is priced outrageous. And people are right ... no regulations in these out of country pharmacies.

First off corona ca is where generic manufacturer Actavis was, they’ve been in NJ since 2014... the company Watson is in corona. While someone who doesn’t know any better might fall for it, someone with google shouldn’t. They’re fakes. You got ripped off.
