Kvk Ritalin - Are You Kidding

Kvk... Ritalin?! Garbage! I will be going to the Dr's and ask why I'm being rx'd phentermine?! A drug is a drug, is a drug! Ritalin would give me a happy, motivated, feeling. My palms used to sweat, I was engaged, now the magic is gone. I'm no longer convinced kvk is selling Ritalin! This I put up with 2-3 times now... My given right and body will stop being coerced by Dr's that believe they know best. Trust me, decline this kvk brand!!! Pissed off, and tried the "stimulant vacation!". Before someone wants to get mouthy, I saved an old script before kvk... Kvk white round tabs are not Ritalin!?

I'm unsure of the direction you wanted to go with this post. Are you simply stating that KVK is not Ritalin? If so you're absolutely correct. KVK and Ritalin are both trade names of the drug methylphenidate, which is used to treat ADHD. There are subtle differences in the medications such as the coating of the medication which effects how quickly the body digests the medication and time it takes to completely absorb the dose. It is possible that the KVK brand has a slower release, which would reduce the initial "kick" that the drug gives you when it starts to take effect.

Both medications do the same thing, however, it is not uncommon that one brand works better for some people than others. Your best course of action is to talk with your doctor about your concerns with the KVK brand. You and your medical professionals need to work together to find the best course of action to have your medical needs met.

no it is making me sick and dies not wirk. he is correct. been on genetic ritalin and brand years. there is something wrong with it. sick from something in it and feels like active ingredient missing. i defend him as we need this info out there. i need my meds...have to wait fir next one while illness horrifc and something making me ill!!!

His story could be accurate you know? Been on many generics and there IS something wrong. I got so terribly sick and no effect of drug. Hospital for activated charcoal..fluids. It is horrible. Why you would doubt with it could be or maybe is not good reporting as word needs to get out. I am still sicker after being off 3 days and on the brand.
