I've recently failed the urine test for long lasting medacations.I take 40 mg's of KKADIAN,20mg's 2 times a day.I also take TRAMADOL 50mg's 2 times a day,as well as AMRIX ER 30 mg's one time per day. This is a workers comp case, and the urine test say's that I don't take the medication as directed.I take these medications as directed, and 2 urine tests came back with a negitive reading, for the long lasting meds in the system,I can be charged with fraud for negitive results. So if I take the medication as directed why are the numbers so low ??? 2 times this has happened !!! why are the long lasting result nombers so low when I follow directions. the numbers are in the 200 range when they should be in the 1200 range?? This is one time that results for having drugs in my systems is a good thing, fraud and jail time is not a option . What is the name of the urine test ?? I will try to get another lab to do the test and compair results. can you help me with this ???

It is hard to say what may be causing it. There are several things that could cause this problem. They may be using a cheaper test, which increases the chances of it being inaccurate, so you or your lawyer may want to insist on a certified test and lab being used.

Your own metabolism, activity levels, fluid intake and other factors can also have an affect on the levels in your body.

The only medication that you listed that would be detectable on these types of tests is the Kadian, which contains Morphine. These types of test do not pick up Tramadol or the muscle relaxant Amrix.

I don't know what the name is of the test they use and I have no idea what labs are in your area. You may want to just try a Google search or have your lawyer find someone to do it.

Are there any other questions?

What kind of test are they taking? Are they doing a peak and trough. You take the meds as prescribed,go in and drop, wait 2-3 hours and they take blood etc.? For a few days? If this is the case taking your meds the same time every day you should be find.

What I have been finding in my research is that there is a difference in which pill you take. On the pill does it say Watson 3450 or Kadian 30 mg?
