Hello, Nett! How are you?

No, Lyrica is not actually an analgesic, so it doesn't work that fast. It is classified by the FDA as an anticonvulsant, which can also help with certain types of nerve pain. Thus, it takes about 4 to 6 weeks for it to reach its full level of efficacy in the body and for you to know if it's going to work for you.

Typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, mood swings and weight changes.

Is there anything else I can help with?
