Do you have a current doctor that you see regularly?
Because you are most likely going to need a referral to pain management. Under the new laws that went into effect at the beginning of the year, regular doctors aren't going to be allowed to prescribe such medications for long-term usage.

Except for certain limited exceptions, they will only be allowed to prescribe them for short-term use, such as for a few weeks after someone has had surgery or been injured.

Dr Robert van Coleman in Florence MS. He's a great Dr, and is strict with his drug panels every month, so as long as you pass he will be able to write you, but you can't just be seen for pain. He has to treat some other issue (like asthma, copd, anxiety, or something else) in order to treat for pain.
