How Long Does Heroin Stay Your System For A Drug Test (Top voted first)

Serious question as most of yours are. I've been clean for 3 months and decided to use again on Friday around 8 am. I had a urine test done on Tuesday night around 7 pm. I'm 39 yrs old, 5.5 and 135 lbs. I totally wasn't expecting one being done so therefore wasn't prepared at all. No drinking large amounts of water but yes I do work out. Honestly what do you think my chances are of passing? I'll know for sure next Tuesday but my nerves are really starting to get to me. I know I won't be doing this crap to myself any time soon again.

i know i need at Least a week to test clean. People vary - my p.o. at the time never did believe me about that - wrote me for 2 dirties. Used on a Sunday, tested dirty that Tues, and again that Thursday - He thought I must have used again after Sunday and gave me 3 months.

No judging. for those trying to stop using, Relapse IS part of the recovery process. First you're clean a few weeks, then a few months, then a year, then years - So if you slip up it iisn't a fail - it's ok. you don;t have Zero-Days Sober. thats what i disliked about the NA's and all the As - "Now I have Zero!" No dude, you had 3 clean months, and you used, re-remembered how crap that life was and stop (if you're lucky - and since you were alive to post this, you were.. you didn't o.d. or get bad crap or 10,000 other un-change-able things) - and you can make a choice again.

Those of us who've been there know - hang strong.

Hi I have been clean for over 4 yrs and have been having cravings that I finally gave into I am so stupid BUT I insufflated it and its monday 9pm I go in thursday around 2pm for my urine test. what are my chances of coming clean? I only did 2 lines? Am I screwed?

Yeah I had that problem cause I was taking to many at a time it sound retarded what I'm getting ready to say but the best way to get clean is go to jail for something miner cause I just did for two months and that was the best rehab but I'm clean and feel great and don't even crave it. Well maybe once in a while but then ill go workout

I get deathly sick from subutex and suboxone. I was in a terrible fishing accident when I was just a little kid and ive been on high doses of opiets for 19years. Everytime ive tried either one of those I get sooo sick. Only thing I can take is methadone.

SORRY TOO BRAKE THE NEWS TOO YOU BUT YOU MAY JUST FAIL THE TEST SORRY TRY TOO DRINK WATER CRANBERY JUICE OR GO TO SMOKE SHOP AND GET A FLUSH DRINK SOMETIMES THEY EVEN HAVE GREEN TEE WATER PILL IT DEPENDS HOW MUCH YOU DID BUT NUST LIKELY 24 HOURS IS NOT THAT MUCH TIME TOO GET IT OUT GOOOD LUCK

YEAH I AGREE YOU COULD RELAPCE ANY TIME ONE THE KEYS ARE PEOPLE PLACES AND THYNGS THAT COULD HELP CHANGE OF LIFE STYLE BUT UNFURTUNATLLY ADICTION IS A DISSESE SOMETHYNG THAT WE WILL HAVE TOO DEAL FOR THE REST OF ARE LIFE NO DOUBT

MELISSSA SMORES: As much as u would like to feel he is the only one with this problem-- HE IS NOT!!!! But, I can say from experience, he has to want it, in order for anything to work for him. If the suboxone or subtex is not working for him, then he may not be ready to give it up. Wishing the best for u and ur boyfriend-- Prayers for the 2 of you!!

If it was heroin, u should be fine. Its gotta fast half life. Rule of thumb is about 72 hours, but swims passed a test after using the day before. Opiates. Especially heroin get out fairly fast. U should be good.

Suboxone or Subutex WILL eventually start to work. For me it doesn't usually have a positive effect until the second or third day after I stop using. I used about 3 grams daily and I have been clean for 21 days now, but I thought Subs were BS until day 3 and that's when their magic took effect. Abstaining after 10 years of continued use has been the most difficult thing I have ever done and of course I am still struggling, but I know it will get easier and it is so worth it! LIFE IS WONDERFUL

I never tried H till 3 days b4 pain Sr apt. I was just tested 2 mos ago & they never tested me for 3yrs. My pains so bad I can't move, have no quality of life & get suicidal. People said H turns into morphine & codeine in the body on this site. I believed them & UA
tested & lost my pain Dr. I have a broken neck c-3-c7 all collapsed, L-3-S1 broken vertebrae & crushed disks in my lower back. Yes it shows up in UA tests just as what it is.

My brother used Heroin with his girlfriend. Thank God she came to he was having body fluids coming up and choking - inhailing it into his lungs at the same time. He went to e.r. by ambulance. His body had built up toxins the same state that a few minutes from death would be he was barley alive he Was on life support for a while. We were literally living one moment to the next and so was he. God gave him his life back, He gave us a brother,daddy,son and a wonderful man back. I am so thankful for that. If you are using bacause you feel unloved or alone. Go to a meeting or have a talk to someone in your family and you will find out how much you are loved. When you shut yourself out it's so hard fór anyone else to come in side your walls. Let someone in who is clean and can help you.I hope you chose not to use. I hope you pass your drug test unless that is what it takes to save your life you are special to someone also. Try to get help.
