There's nothing on any sub pkg that says anything about half life... please check your ignorance b4 u post...some ppl need help on here... whether it's just friendly reassurance or actual medical help.

I've been taking Suboxone for 4 years. For a year and a half I was on 4 mgs, then 2 mgs, and now I'm down to one. My doctor kept writing scripts and I continued to see him although it should've just been a 6-month program. So anyway, how long approximately will Suboxone be in my chemistry? I don't abuse drugs, so I wouldn't care if it shows up in a urine test. I just want out and back to Lyrics for main pain control. Thanks so much!!!!

I was 21 days clean of suboxone yesterday 2/28 and took 2 mg! On my 20th day 2/27th it still showed in my urine but my levels on 2/22 was 33ml which my doc said i was so close to it being out..i have been on this medicine for 6 1/2 yrs!!! What can I do to get it out FAST i want the vivitrol shot!

Suboxone has a half life. It is said that the Half life is 72 hours. I read on a blog that 8 mg of can take up to a week and that's been my experience. I think a 48 hour half life is more accurate but most websites go with 72 hours. If you take it everyday you have to remember that the doses stack. Meaning if you take 8 mg today at 8 am tomorrow at 8 am you still have at least 4 mg in your system. Thus, your next dose adds on 8 mg plus the 4. Drinking water and exercise does assist that a little, but half life is pretty straightforward. Metabolism also plays a role. If taken daily, I would say a month until complete elimination. If taken occasionally or sporadically I think 2 to 3 weeks is probably safe.

Didn't me at all. Took a eight film jumped out of a airplane hours later ,then minutes later I was on IV MHORPHIN WITH ZERO ISSUES.

It will mess up your antistetic as well as pain pills unless its been at least a week since you have took anything. I know this because I had to do the same thing.

I've been taking 2 boxes a day for 4 months. I haven't taken any for 2 weeks now and it appears to still be acting in my body. how long will it continue working in my system?

If you're talking about it completely leaving your system, without a trace. If the half life is 36hrs, it would take 936 hours or 39 days to completely leave your system. Multiply 4mg by .5, count how many drops til zero (26)then multiply that by 36hrs(half life)(arguably)) then divide by 24. Equals 39. I'm sure it's not detectable way before that, but if you're talking half life, that's it..

Btw, that would be if you were on 4mg for a consistent prolonged period of time. for just taking it once recreationally it is not built up in your system therefore should take considerably less time.
