I want to know whether sompraz 40 and nexpro 40 are same medicine with different nomenclature. One of my family member was advised to take sompraz 40 along with other medicines. I found a few of these in a little coin purse i forgot about in my purse, but i can't remember what they are for. it's a long pink pill with CCHF on it. ## These contain 360mgs of Activated Charcoal, commonly used to help treat poisoning and other chemical reactions. I had been taking the tan and beige prescription formula 20mg delayed release version of Omeprazole to treat my acid reflux for several months with no adverse effects. When I refilled the prescription this time, the pharmacy gave me the Mylan 6150, and after 3 days on it I developed a scary heart arrhythmia, so I stopped it immediately. I am dizzy when waking and unable to walk without holding onto a wall. It lasts for a while. This happens even if I take a short nap in the afternoon. It seems to last longer each time. I take melatonin at night. The only meds I take are Nexium and Celebrex. ## Have you tried not taking the nexium and melatonin to see if it's the Celebrex those 2 you can do without but the Celebrex you might be able to change to a similar med just different manufacturer.
