I am trying to find a family doctor that can perscribe methadone i i was in a bad car accident in 08 and underwent 3 surgeries to my hand shoulder neck area and i was on oxcodone for a long time and i got hooked but i quit and went to a methadone clinic for a while but i can not afford it anymore beetween work and my insurance just cant i am always in constant pain and just need some help it worked for me when i was on methadone i didnt hurt near as bad and just an all around better situation i felt please help if can need to find a doctor in the knoxville,tn

I know that some people might not like what I'm about to write but I really do hope my reply helps someone in need. I used to get strong narcotic pain meds from a doctor for my back, even though x-rays and MRI's showed everything was normal. I was getting everything I could possibly be getting for pain but nothing helped. It was like taking sugar pills... I was in so much pain! One day a friend of mine let me try something that changed my life from then on. He gave me a 40 mg Methadone "disc" or "wafer," and for the first time in a long time I actually felt relief. I started going to the BEST Methadone clinic around and my life has improved in so many ways, it's hard to explain it unless you have experienced it. At first I thought maybe I could not afford it but I was actually SAVING money. If you are reading this and you are at the end of your rope and don't know what to do anymore, I urge you to do some research. Please don't just listen to me or someone who will judge you and make you feel worse. When I explained to my pain clinic doctor that Methadone was stopping ALL of my pain, he actually jumped up, knocked his chair over, and refused to be my doctor anymore, telling me that he "couldn't even see me for a cold!" So don't live in misery anymore! Educate yourself and find the relief that you have been searching for.

To much pain. Have u found a Dr? Tennova is now reducing from 200 mg to ...get this .... 120 mg!!!! And letter I got says if I keep my next appt I am agreeing to this. I don't know what to do. I am on Fentanyl patch reduced already from 100 to 50! Having a lot of pain also. I don't think any Dr can go against the state guidelines or else lose their med license

Good Luck with that! None will write, u have to b clean 6 months off Methadone to get anything written.

I am looking for a Dr in or close to Nashville who prescribes methadone monthly (3 a day / 80 mg), neurontin, and klonopin (also one who maybe takes insurance). I was taking Celica but it doesn't help anymore so I need something different and need an answer fast. I am hurting bad and was on suboxone but that didn't help chronic pain.

Hi, my name is alyssa and i live in crossville tenn, and am searching for a methadone clinic or a good pain clinic! I am 44 years old and have had 2 neck surgeries and 1 back surgery and was supposed to have another back surgery in which the other 3 were failed surgeries! BHG in Knoxville. It used to be called DRD now it is BHG. SAME PLACE AS DRD, SAME PEOPLE WORKING THERE TOO.
