Has anyone noticed a difference between the two manufacturers of Duloxetine X 20 and Teva 7543. They are supposed to be the same (just different manufacturers), however, I'm noticing the X 20 doesn't seem to work as well for my fibromyalgia. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Thanks

Sorry...I meant X 02. I typed the incorrect order accidentally.

They both contain 30mgs of Duloxetine, according to FDA listings. It is often used to treat depression, some forms of nerve pain, panic, and anxiety disorders.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, mood changes, and weight changes.

Thank you, Julie, no worries about the order, people do that frequently. Sometimes it takes some searching to find the correct pill, but it can be done, if one is stubborn.

There can be differences from one generic to another, but how long have you been taking the medication? Your body might also just be getting used to it, so it isn't working as well for you, now.

Re: Verwon (# 2)

I think I'd only taken it for one month, maybe 2. I've since talked with the pharmacy and they reordered the Teva pill (I paid out of pocket since insurance had already covered the other month). I immediately switched and things are back to normal! No more pain! I feel so much better. I'll work with the pharmacy to make sure I get the Teva brand from now on.
