Difference Between Yellow Hydrocodone Acetaminophen With 1096 Vs White Pill Same Strength But U03. Both Say Sub For Norco. (Page 7) (Top voted first)

Updated

Just want to know difference between both pills, beside Manufacturers. I was taking Hydocodone-Acetaminophen 10-325 yellow pill #1096 on one side a V on other side. I was then switched to a white oval pill with the same strength, but has U03 on one side. both say substituted for Norco.

Re: Verwon (# 1) Expand Referenced Message

Hello, my pharmacy filled my 10-325 Norco with a Manuf: AUROB. Big mistake. I have been taking them for 2 nights and haven't slept at all and the pain I am in is not being helped by this new manu. I have been taking Norco for a while and usually get the yellow from Manuf: PAR P. They are yellow and definitely work better.

Re: Swim (# 3) Expand Referenced Message

The yellow V's are the potent because they are the only manufacturers that make them the way they are supposed to be made, I believe they're made by Qualitest or Par, I read that PAR bought Qualitest. Also I think the Watson are pretty good compared to the lousy, utter junk of Malinkroft, spelling? They are the white football shaped ones and they are nothing but filler, they probably put about 1 to 2 mgs. of actual codeine in them because they sure as heck aren't putting 10 mgs. in them. Does anyone know if they still make actual Vicodin anymore? I'd rather have those than Norco and can you actually get the actual Norcos w/o it being generic? Thanks, guys!

Re: Tired of the fake (# 36) Expand Referenced Message

The yellow amd the peach are both off the market, because they were part of a substantial Gov recall. Endo bought Qualitest, and no longer manufacturers norco, however they still make Percocet.

And why isn't anybody addressing the fact that the white ones don't work anywhere as well as the white ones. I'm a chronic pain patient and am scared to say anything as we commonly get treated as "junkies" if we complain etc. I went to every pharmacy in the county in FL where i live. I heard some of the craziest excuses as to why i was no longer getting the yellow football shaped norco substitutes, it was creepy .... Could not get a straight answer from any one of them!

I have been taking these white ones for a couple years now iv tried taking more than one at a time but I got really sick....so i put up with this i get maybe 20 min of mild relief compared to all day relief i got from the yellow ones.... It's sad that people who really need and use these drugs responsibly have to go through so much crap.

Totally agree with you! Some people think if you have to take pain medication that you are an addict! I have been on this type of medication for over 20 years and not once have I overtaken it! Actually I don’t take it as much as prescribed! I take it when I need it! I have never taken it to feel a high off of it!!!

Re: Ray (# 101) Expand Referenced Message

your ignorance is showing ...... the bioequvalnce is supposed to be equal but in what manner are they equavalent .....2grapes& 2 bananas or 2 apples & 2 oranges or 2 blackberries & 2 strawberries ......... each of these are the bioequavant of 4 pcs of fruit but no two groups of these bioequavilents will react the same when eaten

Re: Bull (# 104) Expand Referenced Message

read the article that says fda rules only say that they have to be bioequivalent when done ........ i have chronic pain for decades and have used a lot of various hydrocodone brands .... and the coating explaination does not fit with my experiance .... ir it was a coating issue eventually they would give pain relief and that failed to happen .... so i used to use the 20% variance argument but subbosedly that is misleading and i found the article explianing bioequvalent idea so now i use the fruit argument

Re: Verwon (# 1) Expand Referenced Message

To me the yellow ones don’t work as well as the white ones, yellow ones seem weaker and don’t hold my pain down for 6 hours only around 3-4 hours

I am so glad to get an answer to my question that I was going to ask. Hi I've been taking 325/10 for several years. I've been fine with generics until I got the white u03 pills. It does seem to dump all at once. I got so high I couldn't function. Instead of 2, I take 1& 1/4, then 2 hours later another 1/4. I d rather count the good ones than have extra garbage at the end of the month.

Uo3s rock my world! They are like heaven in a pill form. If they were a professional boxer the uo3 would be like Tyson and the m367 would be some skinny white chick. Ten times the punch!

Their is NO Difference if you ask a Dr or Pharmacy or a Manufacturer. BUT if you ask the User/ Addict they will most Definitely Say One IS Better than the Other & It's about a 50/50 Vote so u would Again have to say their the exact Same thing. Same Chemical's Same molecular Make up & as one who HAS had it All unfortunately I would say the NEW ones lie the One your inquiring about are Better than the Old Yellow ones & White ones. My Second Personal Choice would be the Yellow Guys !! Either way their all the same & do the same Things !! Be careful with Narcotics they sneak up on you & you cannot live without them before too long !!

Bull (# 109) --

In the first place again.. I was not talking to you! I was referring to myself when I said "Addict", altho if u have been taking pain meds as long as I have you are an addict & as you said you've been taking them for "decades"...Right?? Secondly, I am a walking talking medical book buddy.. So take your "wanna be" dr self & ease on down the road! You don't know me & u obviously know nothing about the drugs you take.. I, however read about anything I'm prescribed before it ever hits my lips! Don't talk crap to people you don't know! I'm an e4 ret. Lieutenant in the U.S.M.C. E.O.D. 1992-01..Tagged by an rpg in 01..So yeah I know a bit about the stuff I take. I don't guess & I sure as s*** don't get into arguments with people I don't know by sticking my nose into a conversation that has nothing to do with me. Which is clearly something you need practice in! You are done wasting my time now!
