Can coveram cause urine incontinence during the night?

The FDA lists Coveram as containing Amlodipine and Perindopril, it is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions.

Its typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain and hypotension.

No, it has been known to cause you to wake up, due to having to urinate, but not actual incontinence.

Is the person on any other medications?

Yes, Coveram can cause increased need to urinate at night! This extract is directly from the packet insert: Uncommon side effects (occur in less than 1 in 100 users but in more than 1 in 1000 users): mood swings, anxiety, depression, sleeplessness, sleep disturbances, trembling, fainting, loss of pain sensation, rhinitis (blocked up or runny nose), altered bowel habits, hair loss, red patches on skin, skin discoloration, back pain, muscle or joint pain, chest pain, disorder in passing urine, increased need to urinate at night, increased number of times of passing urine, pain, feeling unwell, bronchospasm (tightening of the chest, wheezing and shortness of breath), dry mouth, angioedema (symptoms such as wheezing, swelling of the face or tongue), kidney problems, impotence, increased sweating, discomfort or enlargement of the breasts in men, weight increase or decrease.

Since using Coveram 5/5 I also have an increased need to urinate, particularly at night. This is regularly every 2-3 hrs at night and when I wake up I also have a very dry mouth often resulting in drinking a small amount of water which probably feeds the problem. I also believe that I have an increased level of urination during the day, particularly shortly after drinking any liquids.
