Gelmicin For Nail Fungus! Help To heal?

Will Gelmicin help to eliminate toenail fungus? I bought it in Mexico and want to try it on my toe nails to kill the fungus. Any ideas? ## It's worth a try, I used it a couple of times but wasn't consisting on it, I used to use fungi pen and and would make my nails "look clear" I used it for 5 months every day but in the end it didn't work. So $10 a tube for gelmicin its worth giving it a shot, just maybe use up one tube apply twice a day since it rubs off if you wear socks and see if there's any results, I'll be doing that. ## Have you guys ever looked into trying Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca) as a natural remedy for nail fungus? My research suggests that it's as effective as topical Clotrimazole in the treatment of nail fungus. Although I personally haven...

Did he give you any antibiotics to take? ## Yes, I was on a 3 day course...however, I do think that I'm peri-menopausal and I had this burning sensation again after I was treated for the UTI, but its definately not thrush of sort as the burning is not inside, the Canex T that he gave had no applicator so I'm just applying it to the area. ## hi there can I use canex t for my 18 month old baby, she has got nappy rash and its been red for two weeks and it does not want to go away ive tried everything. ## Yes i tink u ...

Can Gelmicin be used for ringworm and if so is it effective? ## Hello, Robert! How are you? It does contain the antifungal Clotrimazole, so it may help, but you should only use it if a doctor has advised you to do so, because it also contains an antibiotic and a steroid, the latter of which may actually worsen some skin conditions. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including skin redness, irritation and dryness. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Appreciate your response my question. I will update you should I experience some side effects. Thanks again ## I have ringworm in my private place and it has been itching more and big black spots are forming. Hi. I went to the clinic for an infection and they gave me glenmark clotrimazole - 1 vaginal tablet. So I did use it yesterday night but today in the morning it came back out like a discharge; it was indeed the tablet that came out like a liquid. So I want to know if it's normal or if I didn't administer it properly? ## Hello, Zinlhe! How are you? Sorry about the infection. Yes, any time you use something like this that you insert vaginally, there will be some that is discharged, that is normal. It really just isn't possible for all of it to be absorbed. Some of the discharge may even have been due to the infection itself. If your symptoms don't go away in a few days, you should return to the clinic for a follow up. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I just inser...

Candid B Cream

What would happen if candid b cream is accidentally ingested? ## Candid B is a local "skin application" that consists of Clotrimazole and betamethasone; it is effective for localized fungal infections such as Ring worm. I don't think ingesting the cream is a very good idea to say the least and may even cause more harm than good since it is not an oral medication. Keep in mind that Candid B is not effective in widespread fungal infections. For wide spread fungal infections one would need to take "oral" anti-fungal treatments. In addition, it is not very effective in fungal infection of the nails. As far as side effects go, Clotrimazole and Betamethasone can cause skin irritation. Some people can get allergic reactions but it is quite rare. Mild burning sensation, redn...
