How long should I apply the Canex V Cream if I have the yeast infection? ## For instructions on how to properly use Canex V cream (Clotrimazole), I would strongly encourage you to discuss this with your doctor or gynecologist in order to get more personalized advice; however, I was able to locate general dosing and administration guidelines that note the following: "Clotrimazole is usually used once a day at bedtime for 3 or 7 days for vaginal infections." Referenced from: nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/meds/a682753.html#how I hope this helps to answer your question!

Can this cream be used for a yeast infection? ## I am experiencing a bad itch in my vagina and I have a tube of clotrimazole cream usp 1% but it expired two months ago. Is it still safe? ## RE: clotrimazole/betameth cream - Can I use it inside my vagina for dryness or yeast? ## I started using Clotrimazole and Betamethasone Dipropionate Cream 10 days ago for itching and burning in the groin area. How long will this condition take to heal with this cream? ## DO NOT USE INSIDE YOUR VAGINA! It clearly says that on my tube (no vagina). Not nose, mouth or eyes either. Use twice a day at the same schedule. Not longer than five days in a row and definitely not longer than 4 weeks!!!

Can I take Clotrimazole Troche with Methadone? I know some antivirals cannot be taken. This is for a yeast infection in my mouth. ## I didn't find any interactions or problems listed between the two medications. Learn more Clotrimazole details here. Learn more Methadone details here. You should double check with your doctor or pharmacist to be certain, but the Clotrimazole isn't an antiviral, it's actually in a different class of medications, it's an antifungal. Are there any other questions or comments?

Can I drink alcholic beverages on this once I've started application on affected area ## Yes. It's only an anti-fungal and steroid. Alcohol will have no interaction with that cream. ## What has your doctor, or pharmacist advised? I wouldn't agree and say there would be no effect, because your body does absorb some of the medications, it's just that the effects would be very slight, as compared to medications that you take orally and absorb much more of in your body. Another issue may result from the fact that the alcohol can thin your blood and affect your circulation, it may result in your absorbing more of it, than normal.
