Watson Pharmaceuticals lists this tablet as containing 150mgs of Clindamycin, just like Yvette stated. It is an antibiotic that is used to treat various types of bacterial infections.

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash.

Are there any questions?

My wife received Cipro for her flu and it reacted with one of her pain medications so now she cannot take that anymore. Is Clindamycin (DAN 5708) a safe alternative for flu-symptoms?

Re: Slim (# 4)

Since Clindamycin is an antibiotic, it will not treat a viral infection often associated with flu-symptoms. However, it may be a good idea have a culture test done at a doctor's office just to confirm that it's indeed viral and not bacterial (or vise versa), before moving forward with any particular treatment.

Was your wife's doctor the one who initially recommended Clindamycin?

I hope this helps!
