Cefixim and azithromycin should never be prescribed together; which only will augment resistance. If no response in 3days, provided no scope of c/s, should be discontinued and switch over to another. And if one suspects it as a severe disease, no harm using parenteral antibiotics. Think at least Three times before prescribing an #antibiotic.
