I am 24 yo diagnosed with folliculitis, many boils on head ,one on eyelid got swollen enough enought to close it, even got swollen lymph nodes on jaw line, boils on buttocks also, started taking 3 tablet in a day augmentin625gm 4days ago, it stopped the pain and swelling almost 90 percent but still got a new small bump, mY question 1. Hi there, I was prescribed a z-pac for a dental infection while the dentist was out of the office. When I went to see him three days later, he gave me an additional prescription for Augmentin to start after the z-pac was finished. The z-pac seemed effective and I was pain free by the time I started the Augmentin which I took for ten days. Five days after completing the Augmentin, the pain returned with a vengeance. I have five more days until I see the dentist for a root canal. In the meantime, which antibiotic would be best to take? Would it be wise to go back to the Augmentin or the z-pac again? There's no way to tell whether this is a new infection or the original infection, although since the root is completely dead, the infection likely never went away. Thanks so much for your ...

Been taking generic augmentin for 96 hours for a sinus infection. I must say that the pounding headaches behind the eyes are still present. I know h/a is a side effect of the drug and curious as to whether or not I've only swapped headaches. I'll give it another 24 yrs before I pull the plug and get some Keflex (my 1st choice). I had the flu and was percribed Amox Clav 875Mg because I was bleeding from my ears.the bleeding stopped but the there was liquid draining from them .The draining stopped now I am left with very little hearing and a constant ringing in my ears it has been two weeks and I barely hear anything will my hearing come back in time?It has been two weeks now should I continue taking the Amox-Clav 875mg ## If it has been over 2 weeks and you are still having such problems, then you should most likely return to your doctor to have them checked again. I had a fall 24 hours ago which broke a tooth and cut up my lip quite badly. I've been to the dentist who fixed my tooth with a temporary cap. I took one dose of this drug for a cat bite. I took it with food as prescribed. During the night I had extreme stomach pain so bad I thought I was going to have to go the er. Then I had diarrhea with blood. I was so scared. I called my physician in the am to tell her what happened but by that time it had cleared up. She had one other patient this happened to after one dose. I took my first dose of augmentin this evening and when I was going to sleep my hands started itching. I finally got annoyed enough to go look for some cortisone cream and when I turned on the light I saw that my whole body was red - except my face. It's worst on my feet, inner part of legs, stomach and arms. My hands and feet are what itch the most. I just took Benadryl and a probiotic. Should I be concerned? Will this go away in the morning?
