can augmentin be used and still take my weekly methotrexate injection? ## Have you discussed it with your doctor? Augmentin contains Amoxicillin with Clavulanic Acid and while it can be taken with Methotrexate, the dosage does have to be carefully adjusted. The Augmentin tends to lower the excretion of the Methotrexate, which raises the levels in your body and can cause toxicity.

I am allergic to amoxicillin, and my doctor gave me augmentin. I did not know this antibiotic contained amoxicillin (and I am guessing he overlooked it), and it almost killed me. If you get this, make sure you are not allergic to any of the cillin drugs~ ## Yes, Augmenting contains Amoxicillin with Clavulanic Acid and should not be used if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. The safest thing to do is to make sure that your pharmacy records your allergy in their computer system, that way all medications will be checked against this information and if they find something that isn't safe for you to take, they will not give you the prescription and will contact your doctor for an alternative. After viral in last week of august again i had dengue From october 03. on oct 10 i came out. But My fever remains 99 to 99.6 throughout the day. My doctor gave me Augmentin 650 but no relief, Stomach tab but no relief. At last My doctor gave me oflox 400. I want to know why? ## Because Oxfloxacin is a different antibiotic, in a different class. Since the Augmentin didn't help, he is is trying to find something that will help you. will augmentin work on a bladder infection ## Augmentin contains the active ingredients Amoxicillin and Clavulanic acid, it is used to treat many types of infections. However, unless you have definitely been diagnosed as having a bladder infection, you should not use it. If you do, you run the risk of developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. off white oblong tablet with imprint either 66N6 or 99N9. found in amox tr-k clv 500-125 mg tasan bottle but had received wrong pills in one of two RX's, so not sure? any ideas? ## Sorry- the other way around is 9N99. ## The marking is actually GG N6 and yes, it is the correct medication, a generic for the antibiotic Augmentin, pharmacies sometimes do this when they have some pills left over from one order and have switched to a different generic supplier. i would like to know if i can mis augmentin and oxycodone together to fit an ifection and some pain ## From what I can gather Augmentin (an antibiotic) should not have a reaction with Oxycodone (a narcotic pain killer). Of course, I am not familiar with your medical history and I would recommend verifying this with your prescribing physician. I hope this helps. Two toned capsule, light green and dark green, one half has GP4 and the other says 93/3125 on it. Is it Augmentin? ## What is a two tone pill half light green half dark green with GP4 on it? ## Are you certain of the marking? I am not finding anything of that description with that marking in the drug database. It is possibly an over the counter item. ## I have GP4 half light green, half dark green capsules. I also have the same capsule marked RX657. Both are in the same bottle marked Cephalexin 500 mg. caps. The Rx came from the vet, so it appears they used stock from two manufacturers. I don't know about GP4, but the RX657 appears to be a human-grade drug, made by Ranbaxy. I can't find a manufacturer for GP4. Perhaps a search for vet meds would bring up GP4?
