Alprazolam (almee-1) India (Page 7) (Top voted first)

Got my generic Xanax prescription filled (Alprazolam, 1 MG tabs) today. They are blister packed from India and are GREEN with no inscriptions on either side of the pill. Anyone familiar with these and are they common or do they seem to be safe?

you are very fortunate. I (stupidly) ordered what they stated was oxycodone (actually i think allegedly 80mg OC's) oxycontin - which, by the way I've never taken, only short acting oxycodone (yes, it's still available). I'm an ex-RN, fx'd both feet 3 1/2 yrs ago (11 fx's), needed a fusion then on r. foot (liz-franc fx.) but declined having seen too many poor surgical outcomes in my professional and patient hx. (especially w/ fusions). I have progressive declined physically (I am 55), have bad bones, hyperextension (ehlers-danlos syndrome) and am a scar-former (another reason not to undergo surgery until absolutely necessary. Long story short, i've been unable to work since foot/leg fx's, state insurance cancelled 4/30/11 (AHCCCS in AZ - we are the only state w/o medicaid), reinjured (broke?) r. foot, was soft casted/splinted in ER against my desires (i live alone), but it happened and i ended up removing splint myself - no insurance, but made foolish mistake of ordering alleged oxycodone (80mg) and alleged lorazepam (2mg) in little "baggies". Total amount of both pills was $810 plus foreign exchange fee plus interest, fees, etc., transaction being processed thru ALERTPAY by my BofA card. Since that time I have unsuccessfully attempted to resolve this with merchant (whom speaks and writes very little English and has accused me of all sorts of "fraud". I finally have filed dispute with BofA (officially, written, faxed, everything they've requested) and they have denied and basically continue to deny pretty much stating I'm "dumb". I admit (& did so to them) I foolishly ordered these meds, but when one is in desperate sorts (no wt. bearing, no insurance, no assistance) one may resort to "desperate measures". I have have excellent credit for 40 years, never declared bankruptcy, attempted to defraud, etc. even though I've been "down & out" & certainly am so now with me essentially living on credit cards for food and shelter. I do utilize food banks when I can & volunteer accordingly. I attempt to get "donations" of clothing or use goodwill every other saturday when everything 50% off. Thank you for letting me "vent". Having been a psych nurse (counselor) for many years, i know how helpful this can be. For those of you concerned or wary, ALERTPAY appears to be the new Western Union form of transmitting $, since many RX outlets (mainly foreign) will not any longer accept CC's, probably because of their scam.

This is an issue that has come up a lot recently, I advise you to be very careful. Some of these companies from India are sending the same pills to everyone as whatever they are ordering.

There is no way to know for sure what they are, since they have no marking and are not from the U.S.

I sure hope you aren't out a lot of money for them, or perhaps you can get a refund?
