I was abruptly removed from my doctor of 7 medications, Xanax, Norco, Thryoid, Prednisone, Abuterol,Nebulizer abuterol, Htcz (waterpill)Clairtian-D 24 hr, she stated after i was off the meds a month and 1/2 by letter, that i had been removed and for me to go to the pharm to get a supply of withdrawl prednisone as it could cause me serious problems, however i was off meds nearing 2 months. I went in to the office 4 weeks prior to redo my scripts however wasnt able to UA for her. She had me come the next day i did i gave the UA. however she never got back to me for 4 almost weeks by letter , after i had heard from the triage nurse and my pharmisist i wasnt getting anything because my UA was POS Oxycodne and Amphetamine. OKAY what a smart doctor seeing Methamphetamines are diffrent then amphet. Its also possable i would be found with Oxycodne, its also NORCO which all of the above except the abuterol were her scripts for 2 yrs. I fail to see her reason. I am actually allergic to oxyconton, and cant take much more the the above im allergic to almost all food preservitives have pollen allergies and needed for the 1st time in yrs abuteroul, wich the cheif of staff in ER gave to me with a nebulizer, this doctor had stopped everything i was on for almost now 4 months, i found a place to fill me finally and when i did this doctor was warned that i misuse these meds, i have never even if asked in ER which i went to 3 times in this year, all were not for anything regaurding pain or pills, mainly asthma and for strep throat that almost killed me i turned down the meds for pain there, however NOT on a pain contract this is he reason. I have never been given a reason, not from her, isnt the attending doc to tell me the reason, or am i to guess,
She put me into adrenaline crisis, which will happen from prednisone when u stop , thank god for xtras i had a few xanax, however no thyroid which is adreanal drug, and xanax can cause seizures i have been on this for over 12 yrs, both things i had been told i was under influnce of i cant do, and dont i actually took roxycodne back to her because it caused my throat to swell, if she and i mean IF she read my records she would have seen her allegations and defamatory remarks were,,,,, wrong.yet it does not stop the pain i have and it does not get back my meds. The doc i see now thinks the world should live by alcupuncture, and vitamins, im 51 i have 51 yr old pains and new ones, i dont like my body messed with and the medical s*** that has happened since i was taken off has in creased . i have ER calling cuz i cant pay she wont even let me go there, she had me red flagged
Some say she is on a mission to rid the city of opiates even on seboxtion, however , now finding 30 people have been taken off meds...this is a small city and we all know each other, i think her problem with drugs is her fault, she is in a cioty where its those n normal people she works in a free clinic how does she think her case load will look at the most part, not knocking or profiling just saying, i for one am recovering since 85 which no doc here will ever know as i would never get n e pill. but am i to suffer in pain cuz she has a problem in meds, and because 3/4th of the city is opiate addicted.....who can this be reported to, i have noone to tell but the internet, no legal help out here i dont think that isnt for her office and the ER, so who to tell?????

There is really no one you can tell, you can file a complaint about here with the American Medical Association, but that's really all you can do.

Regardless of what medications you are on and the reason you are on them, if you aren't in a life threatening situation, no doctor is obligated to treat you in the U.S. and/or to prescribe anything. They can chose to stop prescribing at any time and break of the patient relationship, for whatever reason they see fit.

I am very sorry you are going through this, but without some proof that she did it with malicious intent, I am afraid there's really nothing that can be done.

If you are in severe medical crisis, whether or not you can pay will not matter, if you go to an emergency services facility. Regardless of what any doctor has told them, they are obligated to treat you if you are in danger.

Have you tried finding a new doctor?

Pharmacological Says:

You can't be allergic to oxycodone if you are taking hydrocodone and they metabolize differently so a UA can def tell the difference between oxy and hydro. Whenever I've been on PKs longterm I am always forced to sign a contract regarding use and other drugs. If you flagged for amphetamines and oxy you're doc is legally obligated to cut you off. I'd say you probably have real health issues but you abuse drugs on the side in addition to potentially abusing your legit meds. The doc had no choice but to cut you off and I suspect you should be thanking her for supporting your habit that long. And no I'm not holier than thou just think about it be honest with yourself if no one else move on, a lesson learned. I'd try going back to your orig md and come clean and beg their forgiveness and compassion. Good luck
