4 Questions...xanax. Methadone. Pancreatitis. Clean Ua.

I am hoping that this site is judgement-free, as I know that I screwed up and I know the dangers of combining certain drugs and I really just want to ask my question honestly and hopefully get some helpful advice from you guys. =) ....I was diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis with acute flairs about a year ago. It is an incredibly painful disease. I was taken off of opiates and switched to methadone about a month ago. I haven't liked it at all. It is not helping nearly enough with my pain. The dr. that I see doesn't want me taking any opiates. He is very reputable and I've had a hard time trying to argue my case with him. Anyway, he said it was either Methadone or Suboxone and we went with Methadone. I have also had a long history of what I call panic attacks when I speak with the dr., but honestly, I think I'm really just slightly bi-polar. I more often than not feel depressed, but I get 2-3 day spurts occasionally of wide-awake, jittery, panicky, nervous energy. There is a history of this in my family. Anyway, I would occasionally get a xanax, just here and there, to get me out of these spurts once I couldn't stand it anymore. I haven't had to do this in a while.... through the last year, I haven't taken a single xanax. I think that the opiates were actually keeping me "down" a little bit. I asked my dr. about getting a script for xanax, but he said I could have one or the other- pain meds or benzos- not both. Anyway, I had one of my "panic attacks" and took about 15 mgs of xanax over the course of about 5 days (while still taking the Methadone). I now have an appt. coming up and they test anyone receiving pain meds (me). I'm VERY worried and on edge about this. I don't know what I would do without this methadone to at least dull this terrible pancreas pain.... not to mention, I don't want to do the whole withdrawal thing. When the test comes up, it will be 15 days since the last xanax. So, I have a few questions for you guys..... ***How long will it take for me to be clean for a UA? Do you know of any better solution for pancreatitis pain that my dr. might be willing to go along with?*** Does anyone know if Suboxone would help more with pain than methadone does?*** ....Thank you so much to anyone that has read through all of my nonsense!
