I am using zincovit tablets manufactured by m/s.apex laboratories,tamilnadu,India since last three months.first I have taken daily one tablet in the morning after breakfast. After one month I am in trouble with gas problem in stomach and suffer to take breath. I stopped for two days then my health comes to normal . I thought the tablets may be taken after meals, then I started taking the tablets after meals in the midday .after 10 dayshave got the same trouble. I have consulted the doctor and taken the medicine. I was prescribed by zincovit apex by my doctor. I took it for more than one month...now I cant stand up on my legs... This is listed by the FDA as being a nutritional supplement, so it should not cause such an issue. It is rather potent, so it can cause nausea in some people that take it, but isn't known to cause many other side effects. Are you on any other medications? Have you consulted your doctor? Please don't take this tablet. It can be very harmful. I took only one tablet and the next day/afternoon I had ongoing breathing problems, nasal blockage, constipation, dry mouth, allergic side effects, fever, swelling of face, vomiting, skin rash, skin burning, hot flashes, sweating, tiredness, itching, full night of not being able to sleep, upset stomach, bad cough, bitter taste in the mouth, and diarrhea. I visited my doctor and she confirmed it's the Zincovit multivitamin tablets side effects only. Now it's been over 4 days and still I am experiencing skin burning, nasal blockage and tiredness. Please avoid these tablets. It's very dangerous to one's health. The govt. should ban these kinds of tablets. It's one of the worst tablets I've taken in my life. ...

Im taking follihair and zincovit everyday from past 1 month. I feel my body size is increasing..i feel a bit fat. I take it at night after dinner. I am 58 yrs of age and suffering from rhematoid arthritis for more than 5 yrs and Iam also suffering from osteoporosis Dr.prescribed me gemfos with other arthritis medicine. But I have joint pain though I take sazo-500 and ugesic tablets with zincovita vitamin tablets.Is it is side effects of gemfos or any thing else.

I also experienced iodine toxicity like dizziness and nausea. Extreme sleepiness after taking the syrup signals that something in the syrup is responsible and found that it may be an allergic reaction to potassium iodide.
