I purchase Topzole p40 . Is there a generic which I can purchase over the counter, " pharmacy " everytime I need to get a prescription ? ## TopZole contains the active ingredient Pantoprazole, which is a "prescription-only" medication here in the US; used to treat erosive esophagitis and other conditions involving excess stomach acid. A family member of mine takes Prilosec (Omeprazole) - which is regarded as an over the counter alternative for these same types of conditions. I'd imagine though, that it may or may not be quite as efficient compared to its prescription counterpart, but certainly worth a try if you need something for excess stomach acid. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Omeprazole Details I hope this helps!

i found a little bottle with asian lettering on it, a yellow "120" being most prominently displayed amongst the letters. it also says "evil root" on the label. lol. The actual pills have a pinched off oval shape with a stylized "C" followed by a "120" and they are a yellow color. any ideas what this stuff is? ## Hello, Spam3! How are you? Since these are from a foreign source, it is rather difficult to confirm what they contain. However, going by an alert I found provided by the Australian government, Evil Root is something that's sold as a male enhancer, but it is considered illegal in most countries, due to the fact that testing found it to contain the undeclared drug ingredient Sildenafil, which is the same medication as in Viagra. As a matter of f...

its guaifenesin and phenylephrine Guaifenesin is an expectorant. It helps loosen congestion in your chest and throat, making it easier to cough out through your mouth. Phenylephrine is a decongestant that shrinks... no reason to be alarmed! ## I actually tried to look this particular pill up online, but couldn't find anything posted about it anywhere. So thanks for taking a moment to share your finding on that. It's definitely a big help when there's no other way to identify something like that. If anyone else ever comes across a similar pill, I did find that most round tablets starting with a "44 xxx" number sequence are generally common over-the-counter drugs here in the US. Would you also happen to know who manufactures this pill?

yellow oblong pill with 357 imprinted on it ## Sounds like Ultracet to me. It is a nonnarcotic pain reliever with acetametiphin in it. Dosage is one to two tablets. Anymore then two can be dangerous and don't even think about mixing it with alcohol unless you want permanant liver damage. IT won't make you high if that is what you are after. ## Did you mean the marking 537 on an oblong, yellow tablet? If so, the tablet is distributed by Amerisource Health Services, and they list it as containing 37.5mgs of Tramadol, and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. NDC: 68084-0496 According to FDA reports, Tramadol does carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. ## Inactive ingredients may include: Cellulose, Mi...

Was it found in the U.S. or elsewhere? It is always possible that it's an over the counter item or a foreign medication.

this pill i found is yellow, oval.says p on 1 side an 40 on the other,my friend thinks it is a generic oxycontin ## Hello, Kevin! How are you? No, your friend has the imprint correct, but not the shape, that tablet is round. I think what you've found is a delayed release 40mg Pantoprazole tablet, which is a proton pump inhibitor that's used to reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach to treat or prevent conditions such as GERD, heartburn, ulcers and gastritis. Can anyone confirm this?

MH 12 on one side, with score to cut in half separating letters from number, other side either HM or WH ## Hello, BJ! How are you? I haven't been able to definitively confirm it, but I found one listing that states that this is a 1200mg Magnesium tablet, which is used as a laxative. But that is really just a guess, I am not finding a listing for this anywhere and if it is something thats available over the counter as a supplement, then that would explain it, since they aren't required to log those imprints with the FDA. Can anyone confirm this?

yellow oval pill v/36 01 ## This contains Acetaminophen 325mgs and Hydrocodone 10mgs, it is a generic for Norco. This is a narcotic pain reliever, very strong and addictive. ## I wouldn't say they are "very strong", they are strong if you're not used to narcotic pain relievers, much stronger than a darvocet, tylenol 3, or even a plain vicodin 5/500, but weak compared to pain relievers such as percocet, roxycodone, morphine, dilaudid, demerol, oxycontin, fentanyl, and the many other stronger painkillers on the market. I HIGHLY agree that they're very addictive though. I struggled with addiction to vicodin and norco, so I know how addictive they are. ## in trouble need 5 10mg vicodin to feel ok a day
