Yellow Green Pill

White, yellow, and I believe dark green, possibly brown capsule type pill. No markings. It is a solid pill, not one that can be broken open. Half is the green color and the other half is split yellow and white. ## Hi Carolyn, U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have unique letters or numbers (sometimes in addition to a logo of some kind) imprinted on the tablets or capsules so the medication can be identified. Odds are that it could either be manufactured outside of the U.S. or that it is an over the counter medication, as OTC meds aren't required to be listed in the drug databases. If you're able to, I would consider taking the pill over to your local pharmacy and having it analyzed by their team to see if they can come up with anything. And as a last resort, you coul...

I found a pill that was green on one side and yellow on the other. It is stamped with L198. Please help me identify it. ## Hi Butrfly, I found reports of a yellow and green capsule with an imprint of L198 being identified as an oral allergy/sinus (cold) medication, containing Diphenhydramine + Phenylephrine + Acetaminophen. If I stumble upon any additional details I'll be sure to post back here. Is anyone else able to verify these findings?

Does anyone know what a green / yellow capsule would be? It was brought back from mexico ## Hi dean, Because there are no "identifiable" markings, it may be difficult to determine what this capsule really contains. However, if you know the person you got it from, they could probably trace it back to a legitimate retailer or distributor who should be able to offer them more specific details on the tablet. Whether or not you can trust them is another story...but maybe some additional clues can help others help you as well in your search. Does anyone else here recognize this capsule? ## Just got back from Mexico yesterday. We bought tramadol in green and yellow capsules at the airport when leaving.

Did Mylan ever package Triamterene-HTCZ 37.5-25 MG CP that wasn't dispensed in bottles? My drugstore hunted for us and found the yellow & green pill, but it's not in a bottle, just a yellow flat pk. Is it counterfeit? ## There is no specific way a manufacturer is required to package a medication. While most use bottles, since it is cheaper, and more convenient, not all of them do. What are the markings on them? Can you please post back with this additional information? That is what would enable me to double check the contents for you. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.

Which is the better pill? I know there both 1 mg but is one better than the other? I'm just wondering is all. ## Hello, Rugbug! How are you? No, they are both just manufactured by different companies. This is very common with generics, because it helps create market competition to keep prices lower. The one with the R logo is manufactured by Actavis and the one with the M logo is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals. The FDA classifies this medication as a benzodiazepine that is most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. It carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Pill has + on one side, nothing on the other.. LIght green small square pill may be used with steroids at end of cycle ## My 13yr old son had a green square lozenger appearance with a cross on it. I need to find out what it is. Thank you. ## This may be a long shot, but the closest match I've seen here is a square light greenish/yellow pill with an italicized "X" on one side and the number 1 on the other. Turns out that this particular tablet is Xanax XR 1mg, made by Pfizer. On the other hand, many steroid-related pills fit a very similar description (i.e. being square shaped - which is a typically uncommon for most other types of pharmaceutical meds); so my thoughts tend to lean in that direction as well. If either of you are able to, I'd suggest taking the tablet over ...
