My father is a home hospice patient. Twice his Dr prescribed haldol. I never gave it to him. Each time I informed the Dr that he has Parkinson's and should not take haldol. Now he is in a inpatient hospice unit and I suspect he was given haldol based on his Parkinson's symptoms getting dramatically worse over a 24 hr period. My question is: how long after taking haldol can it be detected in the blood? ## It has been found in the brains of deceased persons as long as three weeks after they last had any. In blood tests of living people, it looks like it might be detectable for a few days. This article might help. It should never be given to elderly people, or to anyone who doesn't consent. With elderly, it's very dangerous for those who have dementia with Lewy bodies, whic...

Has this been discontinued? The pharmacies have substituted this for Mylan 345 diazepam 5 mg which are ineffective. What is comparable to Dan 5619 5 diazepam? Thank you. ## Hello, Pat! How are you? I am sorry that the one from Mylan isn't working for you. No, the other one hasn't been discontinued, but since this is a generic medication, the one your pharmacy carries may change at any given time, depending on which manufacturer was offering the cheapest price at the time they needed to restock their supply. I also can't suggest a comparable one, since it can vary from person to person, it's really just a matter of trial and error to find which ones work for you. Xarelto has increased my weight by 9kgs. It has given me dreadful reflux chest pain and fatigue. My legs ache my nose has scabs. I feel ill every single day. I would not have taken the drug if I had been told the possible side effects, which by the way are played down by the maker Bayer and Johnson. This year I have had a PE... i studied dialy dose 600 IU to 800 IU per day,but in D rise sachets it contains 60000 IU , does it becomes toxic or any adverse effect may appear ## Hi, Narendra! For short term use, you can take this high of a dosage of Vitamin D. It is so important to our overall health that these types of doses are often given to people that are severely deficient in it. However, you couldn't keep taking this for a long period of time, because you would eventually build up too much of it in your body, which could also be dangerous. Did your doctor tell you to take this?

I complained to my primary care physician that the Paxil CR (37.5 mg daily) was controlling my hyper-self-critical thoughts and general anxiety well, and that 1 mg of Lorazepam 3 times a day was controlling my panic attacks, but that over the past year, my depression has become more acute and frequent.
