My aunt gave my mother some pills saying they were Provigil and then later called and said they weren't and has no idea what they were. My mother took them and we can't find out what they are. White oblong scored tablet with a J on one side and 24 on the other. ## Hopefully your mother's ok after taking an unidentified pill. Any feedback on how she feels? Based on the description provided, the closest match I'm finding is a white oval pill, scored, with an imprint of "D 24". This particular pill is identified as Gabapentin 600 mg. Size (for reference): 17mm Gabapentin was originally developed for the treatment of epilepsy, and is currently widely used to relieve neuropathic pain. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Gabapentin Details Does this soun...

Was told it was buspar but can't find it in the pill identifier. ## The reason this isn't listed in the pill identifiers is due to the fact that it's an over the counter product. This tablet contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen, it's just a generic or store brand of Extra Strength Tylenol that's used to treat pain, fever and headaches. This medication can be toxic if too much is ingested in any 24 hour period, so please do not exceed a total of 4,000mgs daily. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## I appreciate the response! Thanks so much.

Hello this white pill with 243 on it should be a generic name for norvasc 10mg its should be the generic name amlodipine besylate 10mg ## Yes, that is correct. That tablet with the U 243 marking does contain 10mgs of Amlodipine, which is a calcium channel blocker. This medication is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. Typical side effects may include dizziness, nausea, drowsiness, headache, increased urination, stomach pain and dry cough. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## I I'm taking Amlodipine Besylate 10mg tab 128 c. When I went to go get my 3 month refill they gave me 243 u 10mg. Is that the same medication? Why is the pill much bigger. Please advise.

Small round pill with the letter "N" on one side and "24" on the other ## Hi Tim, Based on the description provided, I haven't found an exact match to your pill, but the imprint gives me an idea of who the manufacturer may be. Novopharm (a Canadian based drug company) happens to manufacturer other white round pills with a similar imprint (e.g. N 10, N 20). NOTE: Novopharm is now known as Teva-Canada. I would actually recommend contacting them directly regarding your inquiry, since it might end up being one of their own. Posted below are the company's contact details: Medical Affairs and Drug Information English Inquiries: 1-800-268-4127 ext. 1255005 [email protected] I hope this info helps!

I found a pill in my daughters dresser drawer. Can you tell me what it is? It has the numbers P 243 long white pill. ## This is a store brand tablet to treat PMS, similar to Midol. ## I found the same pill in my daughter's room after a school friend had visited. I was relieved to read it was for PMS and not some kind of pill bought on the street for the kids to abuse. I have since verified the the pill P243, is definitely for a female's menstrual discomfort.

What is a white long square pill with GG 249 on one side of it? GG - 2 - 4 - 9 ## This tablet contains Alprazolam 2 mg (NDC 0781-1089). Inactive Ingredients: - Cellulose, Microcrystalline - Docusate Sodium - Lactose Monohydrate - Magnesium Stearate - Sodium Benzoate - Starch, Corn Ref: DailyMed ## This is supposedly the strongest of all the xanax bars. the double GG is how you would know ## The GG is simply the manufacturers imprint! All it does is identify who made the pill, does not indicate strength... ## Pill is correct on that, the GG has nothing to do with the strength of the tablet whatsoever. That said, this tablet contains 2mgs of Alprazolam, a generic for Xanax. This is used to treat nerve and anxiety disorders, as well as some cases of insomnia. Some of the most common side ...

Round white pill with 2410 V on it, what is it? ## Found a match! it's Carisoprodol 350 mg, which is a centrally-acting skeletal muscle relaxant whose active metabolite is meprobamate. Manufacturer: Vintage Pharmaceuticals Inc. National Drug Code: 00254-2410 (Discontinued) Hope this helps! ## Generic Soma is carisoprodol, which is a precursor of meprobamate. It is not meprobamate itself; but it is in the same class of drugs called dicarbamate derivatives. They do not relax skeletal muscle tissue directly--they relax the body through their sedative properties. And carisoprodol--brand name Soma--is not nearly as potent as meprobamate (brand names: Equanil, Miltown) which is a Schedule IV controlled substance. Carisoprodol is not controlled, it is Rx Only--unscheduled. But it does hav...

white pill ## This pill is a 325 mg aspirin tablet. It is CVS Pharmacy brand, is uncoated, and is caffeine and sodium free. The only other ingredient in them is starch, which holds the pill together, as aspirin is very powdery. It's a value product, but while cheap, it is also effective. I bought a bottle of 1000 of these pills for 10 dollars. When I get a headache I take four of them, two 500 mg acetaminophen pills, and a 200 mg caffeine pill (caffeine speeds up the effectiveness of these drugs). If you've only got one of these, take it for a headache. If you've got ten bucks, go get another thousand. ## round white pill with large numbers 249 ## @derf yeltneb, Based on my research, the pill you have could possibly be the 325 mg Acetaminophen mentioned above, or Escitalopra...

You can view a detailed description of the drug, by clicking on the link below... If you have any more questions or comments to add, please post back so I can further assist you. ## Is it true that u will fail a drug rest for taking claritin d? How many should I take at a time? I have a script for my head aches. I used to be addicted to muscle relaxers ( I don't any more and as an out come I'm now on Methadone) so I think I may have a higher tolerance and I used to take four - five T3's at a time. So if they're only 1's I'd be not thinking right just guessing but i don't want to assume and take to many... does this make sense?.. ## This tablet is listed as only containing 500mgs of Acetaminophen, so it is not going to compare to any opiate for pain relief and you can't take more than 1,000mgs at any given dosing and no more than 3,000mgs in 24 hours. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and headache. Is there anything else I can help with?
