Need to identify a large tablet
Large (1/2 inch+) off-white tablet with a cursive initials N M on one side. Not sure if it is even a drug yet? ## Actually no, this is not a prescription drug. These tablets with the large NM on them are over the counter supplements sold under the brand name Nature Made. That said, I also have no way of knowing exactly which one this is, since there are several that look similar and they use the NM on all of them. They make a very large variety of items and both their multivitamin supplements, plus their calcium tablets are large, white to off-white and have that same logo. round white has M at top of tablet and 613 at bottom. This doesn't look like any keppra ive taken before and im scared to ## Where did you obtain this from? Earlier this week, I received my first generic refill of the 500 mg version (oblong white, M 615), and since it wasn't on their web page, I double-checked by calling them. The 750 mg dose is M 617. ## You DO NOT want to take that medicine. It is made by Mylan Pharmaceuticals. It was sent to me by a pharmacist without approval from me or my MD. Refractory Hodgkin's lymphoma
Information needed Refractory Hodgkin's lymphoma and Brentuximab Vedotin ## From what I could gather, Brentuximab vedotin injection is used in patients with Hodgkin's lymphoma who have otherwise not responded to stem cell transplants (procedure that replaces diseased bone marrow with healthy bone marrow) or at least two treatments of chemotherapy. Micrainin as a headache remedy
I'm wondering if the Micrainin name wasn't once used as an OTC headache remedy before it was marketed as a sedative. Way back in the late 1950s I used to see a commercial using a doctor type in a white lab coat pitching Micrainin as a headache remedy for "intelligent people" with the main pitch being "headaches differ, people differ." I'm not making this up. We were served by New York TV and I've never had anyone who remembers such a brand. ## Yes, it is possible. Companies can reuse a name, or even sell them. I couldn't find anything on it, but I can assure you that it has happened. Does anyone remember more? ...
