I need to know what the difference is between percocet and oxycottin? ## percocate is cut with asprin. oxycottin is not cut with anything. ## I am on Percocet and Oxycontin.. The difference is, Percocet is short acting drug with tylenol, Oxycontin is much stronger and is a time releasing drug with semi-synthetic opiate derived from an element of morphine. ## Percocet is not cut with aspirin...it is cut with tylenol ## Oxicottin is an opiate oxicodonen and hydrocodon are synthetic base with either a spring or Tylenol like. 5/325 5 grams of the narcotic / 325 of the asprin. Oxycodone, by itself, doesn't usually cause peripheral edema, however, it could be the Acetaminophen, since it can sometimes cause people to retain fluids and, if that is what is causing it, it would have also happened with the Norco. Naproxen is just Naproxen, without anything else. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PERCOCET M357 AND PERCOCET 512 ## M357 is NOT percocet, it is a different class of narcotic pain reliever called lorcet or hydrocodone. it is a generic version and not as strong as a perc 5/12 ## That is correct, M357 contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen and 5mgs of Hydrocodone, so this is not an equivelent to Percocet, but, as stated above, a generic for Vicodin or Lortab. It is still a narcotic pain reliever, but not as strong as those containing Oxycodone. This pill marked 512 contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 5mgs of Oxycodone and is a generic for Percocet.
